“Hits the Spot Diner is a good place for great tasting diner fare. The place could use a face lift... it's looking kind of old and sad, but the food is spot on. I had the chicken fried steak skillet. Gravy and plenty of it covering two eggs, the aforementioned steak and home fries, all excellent. My other half had French toast, also very good!!The service was good, not great... but definitely friendly. They are always busy, with a wait time for peak hours... but if you want good food, you're willing to wait!!“

“I was here last night and it was busy! Felecia, the server, was the only server and she was swamped..in the weeds trying to do 'to go' orders and seat, take orders, serve and cash customers out... and the crew in the kitchen was kind of new. The did a SPECTACULAR job! She handled the 'front of the house' wonderfully and the guys in the kitchen rocked. That is why I come in here all the time!“

“Every one that works there makes you feel like family! It makes you feel good like they actually care about you I enjoy the food I’m limited on what I can eat and never have a problem there. The food is great as well!Dietary restrictions: I need smaller portions so they always accommodate me. Plus if I need to I order off the kid/ senior menu.“

“I grew up eating and loving authentic Mexican food in Southern California with breakfast burritos being high on my list of favorite food. I’m in Denver on vacation and just had an amazingly delicious handheld sausage breakfast burrito at 20th Street Mexican Cafe. The burrito was flavorful and not greasy. I highly highly recommend this place for the best breakfast burritos in Denver!! Prices are surprisingly low for large portions. Yummy!!“

“My search for the best diner brought me to McCoys. A Denver original nestled between beautiful Fed and i70. The atmosphere is peak, it was bustling with the sounds of oxygen machines and geriatric banter. The hometown cooking was good, but the big city prices make me have to give this spot 4.38/7 Guy Fieri heads“

“The quintessential diner experience. It's a time capsule of a restaurant serving the most authentic Denver diner food I've had in a while. The service was spot-on and delightful. The coffee had some kind of delicious quality to it that I still can't describe properly. It's a seasoned and effortless experience that's well worth the price.“

“Golden Diner is truly a gold star breakfast joint!!! The food was the best breakfast I've had in Colorado to date!!! We had the blueberry pancakes with hashbrows, brisket corned beef hash, avocado toast with poached eggs, and the breakfast sandwich! The brisket corned beef was TO DIE FOR, so flavorful and moist!!! The pancakes are gigantic with the perfect amount of sweetness. The eggs were PERFECTLY cooked too. That brisket sausage was also melt-in-your-mouth delicious!!! Our waitress was extremely attentive, and it seemed like she knew exactly what we were going to order ahead of time. She was very personable with everyone she interacted with, even though it was extremely busy. We will DEFINITELY be going back to this lovely place soon!!“

“I would have given it a 5 star rating but the damn air conditioning was too cold to stand for very long! Went late night (as always lol) was Saturday at 830pm or so and still were greeted then seated right away ? went outta way to give review rn tho because the hostess was super-awesome!!!!! She was the one who actually sat us instead as well as took our drink orders right away as help to the waitress who was apparently a tad backed up at that moment and my husband and I always share an Oreo shake if ever one is available and as I said this review goes mainly to her haha but literally, especially at a Denny's, she made an amazing NEVER BEEN SO BOMB. COM OREO MILKSHAKE!!) Her OCD of OREO shakes, I think she put it ☺???? made it take a min or so more than we mighta been HahahaParking: Parking only on N/S of restaurant building and technically back/behind the building as well which is the W/S of building!! The HANDICAP SPOTS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ARE ON W/S OF RESTAURANT BACK OF BUILDING! I believe there is like 2/3 MARKED HANDICAP SPOTS right away after turning into lot & are the first spots right off the side walkway on south side PLZ DO NOT TRY TO PARK ON PARKING AREA CLOSEST TO FEDERAL!! That parking area is on AN INCLINE AND IS HARD TO MANEUVER IN MY OWN 2 FEET LET ALONE ATTEMPTING ANYTHING ELSE ???“

“This place is pretty good. If you can deal with greasy food that might not sit right with you for an hour, the rest of it is great. Don't get me wrong, the food TASTES good, it just might not sit right in your tummy! The atmosphere never disappoints and the in-character waitress was great!“

“This place is a Wheat Ridge staple. Recently renovated, it still gives classic diner vibes with food that delivers surprising soul and flavor, and it always has. With fair pricing and hearty portions, it's no wonder this place is hustling and bustling, so plan accordingly. You will most likely have to wait. But their green chili.. actually well worth it.“

“I was craving chicken fried steak and this place did not disappoint! I asked for them to burn my hasbrowns a little and they came out just how I like them. Service was fast and portions were great. More than enough for two to enjoy.Parking: Most places in Denver have horrible parking or you have to pay to park. Not here, big lot and you can see your car the whole time.“
