“Love it Good people good Company and strong drinks“

“I'm in town from Oregon and I rode the bus for like an hour to eat lunch here by myself. No regrets. The atmosphere: unmatched. Folks were playing songs on the juke box that got me hype for a concert I'm seeing tomorrow, and the bartender's playlist was super dope too. The food: unreal. I got the poodle bites and idk if I was expecting like more of a hush puppy with a little bit of ground meat inside, but that first bite of pure cornmeal-fried sausage absolutely took me out. You must get these. The Gwarled cheese was really good too, you gotta put the pickles on it for some bite cause it's rich. Pork belly was a tad dry for me. The sweet tots were the best I've ever had (and I come from the state that invented tater tots!) The service: awesome. Food came quick, I didn't get drinks but other folks were getting them immediately and cheerfully. Go here and tip well!“

“Great place. EXCEPT they need some regular tables towards the front. The only ones they have now is back in the kiddy section. I took a handicapped lady who can't use the high drinker's tables. The kid section was full. We were forced to go down the street.“

“I love this bar. The aesthetic is phenomenal. There's so much to look at and there is a fun factor of eating a Philly Cheesesteak at an Aspen Themed Turkish bar with plenty of heavy metal theming mixed in. It's amazing.Staff was great! Food is phenomenal and the food was all great. I had the gyro and it was fresh and great. My wife had the Cheesesteak and had high praise for it.Good bar fries as well.Definitely coming again!“

Always something goo is going on and always a lot of friendly faces! This place never lets me down. The price for good drinks is right! The food is awesome! “Wings are always phenomenal, I’d argue best in Denver. So many flavors to choose from, and they are giant! Tonight I got the grilled cheese on garlic bread with steak, and a side of sweet potato fries. If you get the sweet fries, ask for a side of peanut sauce. You’ll thank me later! This is a busy bar, but they still make you feel welcome and important. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere!“

If you & your S.O. would be comfortable @ Hooters, you would be here too.The menu is varied; seems to me to be kinda Mexican themed, but with lots of other options - chicken, fish, salads, Italian, even a couple French items. It's a step up from fundamental bar food, and I liked it. The portions are generous, and served quickly. The drinks are tasty. Fair pours; I wouldn't call them heavy-handed tho.Two of us were there for about 3 hours; had apps, lunch, a couple rounds of drinks, and at least two entrees to go. Came to little over $100/ea with tip. Pretty dang reasonable, considering all the food we ordered.I'll definitely go back ... pretty chill place to relax.Enjoy!“

“My boyfriend, mom and I went today (Saturday) around 1:30 on a whim and it was not busy at all. We got the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, and let me tell you!!!! THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS, right about of crunch, goat cheese, and the pomegranate glaze was the perfect touch!!!! I ordered the green chili dog, it was so good too!!! My mom got a burger with blue cheese, and my boyfriend had the jalapeño dip burger! Everything was fantastic, it’s super cool and had a nice atmosphere! Service was great!“

“I came here for an event, and it was very full, making it challenging to move around. I heard this is one of the top 10 bars in Denver, and the atmosphere might not be the greatest, but the drinks are fabulous, and I had the best dirty martini ?“

“First time here. I had a large Caeser Salad with blackened chicken and my wife had the Nachos Supreme. My salad was tasty. The romaine lettuce was fresh, the chicken was fairly tender, and it was topped with more than abundant croutons. My wife's nachos were spectacular! The jalapenos were flavorful and the cheese and meat delicious. We immediately devoured the jalapenos. The service was on point. The bar is tidy and welcoming albeit a bit rustic.“

“Okay, first off this is a great open mic. Aaron does an amazing job of setting up and navigating for the performers so they can bring their craft. Also Aaron's band 78 bombs rocks, and Travis runs a great bar. This is a super welcoming environment and everyone is chill. Musicians are all awesome and the vibe is sweet. Felt right at home performing and I gotta tell ya there are some stellar musicians here, however this is also a great place for up and comers to cut their performing teeth. “really unique way to experience the game! To eat here you just need a ticket to the game. We made reservations for a Friday night game but it wasn’t super busy so we could have just walked in. They have a nice buffet full of wonderful foods and it’s all you can eat. I recommend coming with a group of 4 or less. We came with a large group and had a large table that made it more difficult to watch the game if you were sitting in the back half.“

“Beer is cheap, food is decent and service is great. You're always checked up on here. My scores are based on expectations for the genre. If you like bar food, this is bar food, well done. Drink selections are all you'd need. It can be loud and as far as I know, it gets very crowded and sometimes rowdy. But this is the type of place you go to for that sort of afternoon or night out. In the afternoon to evening hours, it's fairly quiet. Which I personally appreciate a bit more. Spent everything from happy hours with the coworkers to evenings of drinks on drinks. Great for both. And... HOW IS THE BILL ALWAYS SO CHEAP?! I applaud you, Rock Rest, for not capitalizing like the rest of Golden. Know your crowd and keep serving em! They'll keep coming.“

“I live one block away. I've been going in that location since 1999. I think their the 3rd owner's. I know they're from Buffalo. I have had great experiences with talking to the owner, and I really enjoy, like several other people, their burgers and wings. I read about 10 -12 reviews, and I wonder why people only find the bad reviews helpful? I don't drink alcohol anymore.So I've not had the experience of being ripped off like too many people have shared. That really bothers me. I have been a bar owner a few times. I eat in and do take-out, not as much as I used to ? They used to have great rock bands but they're back door neighbors shut that down..“

“The Kentucky Inn is a a fun neighborhood hang out and a iconic bar of the 40s, the owner Jim Armstrong is an amazing entrepreneur and I was very honored and excited to be chosen to help with the renovation of the new booth, tables, barstools, and paint job. It has been serving this community since before World War II when the Gates rubber company had three shifts running, and workers would come by at six in the morning as they got off of work for something good to eat and cold beer and a place to smoke and although smoking is long gone on the inside the bar still carries age, kissed Surface of the old ashtrays and elbows. Not to see the Kentucky Inn is to miss what South Denver all about.“

“Rating this as a Dive-Bar and specifically for Tuesday Night Trivia. I probably shouldn't tell people this because I like winning, but the trivia here is refreshingly good. I hate going to trivia nights where we can't get ANY questions because they're so obscure. This isn't the case. The guy who runs the trivia asks GREAT questions that are challenging and fun, but not impossible. Our server gal remembers us and even when busy ALWAYS has a smile to give.
