“What a pleasant surprise! After a search on Google Maps for a restaurant with vegan options, we made a detour from our road trip to the Catskills to stop at this Middle Eastern restaurant. My husband and I shared a VEGAN Mezza Special (12 plates) for two: Hommous, Baba Ghannouj, Tabbouli, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Falafel, Luby (Green Beans), Spinach Pies, Foul (Fava beans), Moujadara (lentils), Mousakaa, Fattouch (salad), Olives. We have dined in other Lebanese restaurants in the US and in the Middle East, and we both agree that the quality of the food in this restaurant surpasses them all. We were served by the owner Maha Hanna, who told us that her husband is the chef who created our delicious meal. We will most certainly be back whenever we are in the area!“

“The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!“

We live so close by but haven’t tried this place so we decided to give it a go.The restaurant is cozy and the host and staffs were nice.We each got two different special menu which were roasted duck with blueberry sauce($27.99) and tuna steak salad ($29.99).They tasted decent.. we both finished the dish. To be specific, the blueberry sauce was too sweet for my taste and it overpowered the whole dish. It tasted like a desert- infact, I tried with a piece of bread and it was exactly like blueberry jam.The tuna salad was cooked properly, my husband was satisfied with the quality of food but he needed more food after that as the portion was too small.Overall, I feel like the portion could have been bigger but I need to try their regular menu and see the portion if we ever go back there in the future as we needed more food badly later.“

“Was in the mood for a burger., and this place nailed it. I've been here before for Greek and that was excellent too. The burger came out fast, fresh and flavorful. One of the best. I call this my Greek Greek diner.. but the food is way better than that! Give it a try!“

“Been here 5 times now. Everytime the staff is in a good mood, and food is even better. Even the guy on the phone was nice. The Food is really good, and I recommend this place to my friends all time. More of a take out place, there's tables if wanna eat there. And getting fresh food from here is cheaper than going to subway nextdoor lol. The menu has something for everyone too!“

I'm a very good cook and make this at home on a wood fired grill and although there is nothing like my homemade, their Paella is one of the better ones from restaurants. I would get it again. Also tried their Patatas Bravas, a spicy potato dish famous in Madrid. A little pricey but not so much considering it is a top area in Ridgefield.
