“Great place. I have always had a good experience. Until this time. Service was horrible. I took more than 15 min, for the service to notice me. Got my food before the drink. I reminded her when she came to see me after the food arrived( 10 mins in), and she told me such a non-sense excuse. I told her that I still wanted it my wine and then proceeded to eat what was left. The past with seafood I ordered was just ok, I lacked flavor. Overall, I left disappointed but maybe will be back in another time.”

“Had the best time of my life celebrating our son's wedding in North Carolina up here in CT. Servers Shea and Michelle were exceptional, helping with the setups and appetizers, seating and catering to our every request. The personalized menu was a great touch and the selections were fabulous. Everyone enjoyed their meals and service. Assistant GM Max made sure all our needs were met, and was more than accommodating post celbr, along with Michelle and Shea. Cannot state enough how enjoyable our event was at J. Gilbert's”

“I have been to Slice works on many occasions and every time I am met with the best hospitality and professionalism. I have come in for personal dining experiences and also for work . My work dining experiences have included a large party of young adults of all abilities out for lunch learning all about life skill /dining experiences . This restaurant went out of their way each time to make us feel welcome and accepted and took their time making sure everyone everyone had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone who is looking for family friendly , date night , wonderful food and just A+ overall experience .”

“Excellent food and service! Went last minute for dinner on Saturday night. It was an hour wait, but they have a large waiting area with tables where you can sit and enjoy drinks and apps. Ricotta appetizer was to die for. Also loved my entree...Amish Chicken.”

“I was surprised when we got there, looks like a super typical town-y pizza place tucked in a somewhat dingy plaza. The inside is bright, clean, and not at all what I expected. The service was friendly and very fast. There was a steady stream of patrons but staff kept up well, all seemed to be having a good time. The meatballs in vodka sauce were delicious. Fettuccini Carbonara was flavorful and well balanced. I personally would have had more sauce, but I will just request that for next time. Ravioli are huge and generously stuffed. Highly recommended for a high quality Italian experience in an unassuming location.”

“We stumbled upon this place because our friends were already there and it was delightful.They said they waited a long time for their food and there was a line, which usually means it’s pretty good.This place didn’t disappoint. We had margs and tacos! The chili shrimp taco and the Al pastor tacos were fantastic and packed with meat. My wife had the tuna and salmon tacos, she said the salmon one was amazing.They even supplied blankets and heaters for outside.10/10 would recommend and come back!”

“Even though it was a rainy day I still came here for dinner and the food was really good and fresh. I had a Caesar salad with a pizza that was topped with fresh tomatoes and was more like a brushetta with an unbelievable flavor. They actually have a small bar side that is really convenient. The waiter was super cool with a positive attitude that you can actually have a conversation with. I would definitely come back thank you.”

“I can’t recommend Ming Bao enough! Every time we order take out, the employees are always incredibly kind and welcoming. I also want to add that the food is incredible. My husband and I always order general tso combination plates. The lo mein is also super yummy!We ordered take out tonight and when my husband came home with the food, he kept talking about how friendly everyone is, which isn’t unusual! We look forward to ordering again soon!”

“We were looking for a new unique breakfast place during the week and found zinneken's. The music was very loud when walking in- perhaps to cover up the sounds of nearby construction noise. We were surprised that only bottled water was available instead of tap, but not a dealbreaker. The savory poached egg waffle was very nicely served and tasty. We didn't find the seating to be especially comfortable or spacious. The food was great, but overpriced as if it were a more inviting, nicer quality place.”

“I made a mistake when reading the menu and received tacos with chicken on them. (Pollo is in the name of the restaurant - it really should not have been shocking - one million percent my fault!!) The manager saw me double back to check the menu to see where I went wrong. When she figured out what was going on, she was INCREDIBLY nice. She remade my tacos minus the chicken, sent the original chicken tacos home with the person I was with for lunch the next day, and refused to let me pay for the replacement. They would have been well within their right to ignore how bad I felt, but they did everything in their power to assure me it was an honest mistake. (It was, but I still felt pretty stupid lol)Everyone there was so incredibly nice and the food was awesome!”

The ingredients are very fresh, the meats there taste home cooked delicious, and you can tell they put a lot of time to make sure every meal is great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The store is really clean, spacious, and way better than Moe’s or Chipotle. This is my new favorite place for lunch. The people that work there are great and remind me of family. Much respect!!!”

Service is fantastic -- K, K and A are always awesome!This is a great spot in the summer when the deck is open to have a drink or appetizer outside.I also have to give ten stars to their Winter Brunch menu -- we went here just the past weekend and it was hands down the BEST brunch we've ever had in town or when traveling. Everything was excellent -- highly recommend the frenched toast. My husband said the Bacon Egg and Cheese he had was the best ever. They are doing it all right!”

“Always a good time. The downstairs bar area has undergone renovations and it looks great. The bar is larger. More tables and cozy leather furniture by the fireplace. The Guinness is always fresh and there is a good selection of beers and liquors to choose from. On nights they have a band they have Roadside Dogger in the kitchen.”

“I frequent this cafe as the Glastonbury library is next store and it makes for the perfect study break. They make the best americanos around. They also have a cold drink called the Jake’s that is delicious. They also have scones that are amazing- I am not a huge fan of scones normally but these ones are perfectly soft in the middle with the perfect amount of firmness on the outside. Highly recommend”

“Thank you to Carol and Heather for creating the most beautiful and tasty cake for my cousin's dragon themed baby shower. The shower was at a tea house so Heather topped the cake with an adorable dragon in a teacup which was so fitting for the occasion! The cake flavor itself was a recommendation from Carol: coconut cake with raspberry filling and was very good. My cousin is gluten free which is why I got this cake but majority of the people at the shower were not gluten free and couldn't even tell the difference. In fact, they are still talking about how amazing it was!”

Colleen, the manager, was was quick to return my initial phone call and was easy to communicate with in the days leading to the event. We had 12-15 in our group. The staff was great in arranging our tables and changing channels so we could see the game. Rachel, our server, was fantastic bringing food and drink promptly and keeping track of our assorted tabs. Good beer selection, food was hot and promptly delivered. We’ll be back! ?”

“First time visiting The Fresh Monkee, cool to see it is a local chain! THE FOOD-they serve protein shakes-extensive menu but also possible to create your own -great for peanut butter lovers but also TON of options for those who aren't fans -I ordered the blueberry pie and it was really tasty! I was expecting more of a smoothie consistency but it was much lighter/thinner consistency as it's a protein shake. I'm not a huge fan of toppings on my drinks so I would get it without the crumbled graham cracker next time -a bit pricey but there are a lot of ingredients and it's a nice size for what you pay in my opinion! I used mine as lunch! THE SERVICE-staff was extremely nice. Told the cashier it was my first time visiting and she asked my likes/dislikes to give me some recommendations! I really appreciated the help -quick check out and making of the shakes THE ATMOSPHERE-really cute theme, very green/jungle-y-variety of seating options including tables and more lounge like seating. There was also a table outside -I was able to hop on a meeting quick while I waited to go to an appointment locally. Might not be the best idea if you've got extremely important meetings to attend with the rumbling of the blenders but it worked for me!! I will definitely be back to try another flavor.”

“The last few months I’ve been frequenting HBC - Glastonbury a few times a week. At times it’s for a few pastries and coffee, however lately I’ve had large lunch orders with a short turn around time. Lauren and her team have allowed me to focus on customers and my business and not the often difficult process of ordering lunch quickly at other establishments.The first time I had a large order - it was 11 drinks for the office. HBC had straws, sweeteners, everything ready quickly on trays. They value my time, smile, and get it right. I’m often on the go, however I like the new couches and set-up they have for folks that stay a while.”

“i've been to Hot Table a few times and it's always been a great experience. the staff is kind and the panini's are AMAZING!!! I love the Glastonbury location, it's in a plaza so parking isn't an issue and it's super clean. the prices may be a little on the higher side but honestly, I think it's worth it given the sizes of their Panini's, and the way they BURST with flavor!! the pesto chicken is my personal favorite and i don't think you can go wrong with ordering it! i absolutely recommend!”

We had dinner at an amazing restaurant and our waitress truly went above and beyond to make the evening extra special. Not only did she provide excellent service, but she also helped us in hiding and signaling our friends, which added an element of surprise to the celebration. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for the occasion and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I can't stop thinking about the delectable lobster mac and cheese and the scrumptious coconut shrimp that we had.
