Stopped in for lunch after the UConn parade on Sunday. The guy who sat us was pretty rude. We watched them seat multiple tables without a reservation before us, and then tried to tuck us in the corner at the worst possible table when we had a reservation. We asked if we can be seated somewhere else and they didn't like that. He gave us a dirty look and redirected us to the front without saying much. TK has been a dependable lunch and dinner spot for me for many years. Comfortable seating, great food selection, attentive service. I organized a retirement lunch for about 25 people there once (pre-pandemic)--we got to use the area upstairs in the back. It worked out great!

Trumbull Kitchen on a Sunday afternoon is a perfect place to enjoy a nice quiet meal. Having just come back from Goodspeed Opera House, TK was a welcome spot with easy on street parking.
