They even made a few sauces to accommodate a dairy allergy, highly recommend this place and this will be the new go to spot for us. “We love Rraci's. Our “go to place” for speacual events. Service and food are always consistent. We have noticed that the menu choices have become fewer(smaller menu) and potions have also gotten smaller. We were satisfied but worth the mention since so little has changed in the past 20 years.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“First time trying Rocco's. Has parking and looks like an old style diner which gives it atmosphere and a look that's not seen much anymore. Wine and beer be fine, they serve both. Pasta dishes and pizza are on the menu. All was well until check out time, when paying. If paying by card, you get charged with a fee. Wish we had known cause tip would have been higher. Part of the tip went for the fee. We'll be back though. Next time we'll pay in cash.“

“If you're going to get a flat tire, I strongly recommend that you get one on NY-22, right in front of this deli, as I did. The staff are lovely (a man and his mother) and speak Italian to one another. They make their own mozzarella, soup, and at least some pastries, if not all. Cannoli are filled to order and excellent. Another pastry (crostata?), cut into squares with a shortbread-like crust, cherry jam and chocolate was even more spectacular and something that I *must* come back for. The man told me it was homemade. The sfogliatelle pastry was a little tough and stale, but the thick, ricotta-rich filling was delicious. To be fair, these things have a very short shelf life. I gave it a few minutes in the toaster oven when I finally made it home and the texture was far improved. The son patiently answered my questions [e.g. how to properly pronounce "sfogliatelle," how much the fresh mozzarella costs (about $11 / lb)] and the mother kindly warmed up some pasta e fagioli for me. Sandwiches seem to be the focus here -- the menu is vast! -- but I sorely needed the warm-you-from-the-inside-out comfort of soup at that moment. The rich broth full of red beans, potatoes, and carrots absolutely hit the spot. It's too bad that it took a flat tire to get me in this place. We've been driving by for years and have clearly been missing out all this time!“

“This is the definition of a hole in the wall pizza shop that truly delivers on quality. There are a few spots to sit and eat but we were on the run so we took it to go. Here’s how it went. Garlic knots had a lot of flavor in them. I appreciate that they give it way more than usual dob of butter and garlic. There are so many herbs in the oil that I devoured all of them instantly. The pasta fagioli was again super flavorful and freshly made. The lasagna was another fresh flavor bomb on a plate. They had my favorite type of pepperoni for the pizza, a bit of spice. The dough wasn’t thick and just the right amount to ensure the topping didn’t go for a ride without taking away from the flavor. Plus the bacon was NOT that bacon flavored flavored but junk. It was the real deal. This was definitely an awesome meal. You definitely need to add this to your takeout list!!!“

“I have been going to Capri since I’ve lived in Bethel as it is my favorite pizza place in this town so far! They have outdone theirselves with the buffalo chicken pizza. This was the best buffalo chicken pizza I’ve ever had anywhere! The blue cheese dressing underneath and just the right amount of spice. Idk who was making them pizzas on the night of 10/14/23 but they did a phenomenal job. As do all the pizza makers. Thank you“

“We recently celebrated my mother`s 100th birthday at Pulcinellas with about 40 friends and family and everyone is still talking about it ! Linda ensured perfection all around. The pizza, antipasto, entrees (chicken champagne, veal francese, eggplant rolatini, penne a la vodka), and sides were delicious and plentiful. The pistachio BD cake was gorgeous and tasted out of this world! the staff was so attentive to everyone's needs and the piano player added to the festive atmosphere. I live in Phoenix az and they packaged my order so I could take it home on the plane and then when I ordered for my family for valentine's day they separated the portions to go to 2 different places for me. “I can’t believe I’ve never eaten at their restaurant before tonight living my whole life in the area! After loving Limni for the time they were open, I heard that they were the same owners as Mezza Luna so we had to give it a try. The food was amazing! I got the veal saltimbocca which was delicious. The mesclun salad was great with a delicious homemade vinaigrette, and they had the same amazing affogatos that I fell in love with at Limni! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend their restaurant for a nice night out, and their takeout for a cozy night in.“
