For what it’s worth…… We were driving back from Pa to Ma on 12-14. We stopped at your diner for lunch. I must say it was the worst food I have ever had. My alpine burger was tasteless. The bun was so stale it was crumbling. The French fries were made hours before. They were cold and hard. The only saving grace was the Cole slaw. It was delicious My husband also had a burger and his was not good either. All this for $38 for two terrible burgers and two sodas. We have stopped many times before and the food was good solid diner food. What happened?
For the money, you cannot beat the food! Ordered the roast pork and it was absolutely amazing. Huge portions of food! apple pie was a great dessert to end a huge meal. Highly recommend for the weary I84 traveler stuck in traffic!

I've been working the area for the past 5 years so every few months I treated myself to lunch at this diner ($30 with uber eats tip & delivery) which was always fantastic in the past! Well, not today sadly. The charbroiled steak dinner I ordered, turned out to be a large thin oval previously frozen patty, cooked on the flat top not the flame broiler. No longer the loose fresh ground beef, hand shaped, and charbroiled over an open flame! I could taste freezer burn too. The mashed potatoes were obviously made from leftover baked potatoes from the night before, you can taste it. The peas had been sitting but the carrots seemed fresh mixed in, The challah bread was the best thing about the meal. This was sooooo disappointing after many years of lunches and some weekend brunches/dinners. I don't know if they'd serve this to someone dining in? Not ordering again from them unless Im dining in face to face.
