What an awesome experience! The website is so easy to use, although the cake was only available from the Bethel location, but that was not a big deal. The baked goods were delicious - my coworkers were all asking where I got them from, everyone loved them. And everything was ready for pick up right on time.“

“We were having a 70th birthday party and wanted to get catering from Caraluzzi's. It's clean and bright inside. Plenty of parking outside. Very friendly employees. There is a small section with seating where you can get a coffee and sit. Lots of Italian specialties including a cheese section. Our catering order was ready at the pickup time. We got a few different items that were delicious. I loved the wrapped mozzarella. It was a little pricier than expected but sometimes the quality is better if you pay a little more. Definitely quality fresh food.“

“Wonderful little pastry and bakery shop. The place might be small but gosh! The quality is really high. I walked away with the Tres Leches (3 milk) cake and their Coconut cream tart as well as a slice of pound cake to snack on. My friend had the same coconut cream tart and ordered a bunch of their cookies - neither of us were complaining. I practically inhaled my tres leches cake. The owner is friendly as well. When I asked her which 3 milks did she use for her tres leches cake, I asked because the recipe I use has coconut milk. She said that she can't use coconut milk because "this is Connecticut" which I'm guessing means that even something as bland as coconut milk is probably too exotic for Connecticut WASPs. Still I hope this place sticks around because her offerings are wonderful and Woodbury needs some a dose of exoticness.“

“To reviewer tmG9470YS - I think you have reviewed the wrong bakery. Our bakery is spotless, all our baked goods are baked fresh and we don't even use the dumpsters (we dont want to attract bears). So I don't know where you went and a found a dirty bakery and found box mixes in the dumpsters it was not Southbury Baking Company. It must have been another local bakery.
