“First time at Miranda's! Greeted immediately when we walked in the door. The staff was so warm and friendly. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 4:30. Took us a few minutes to decide what we were having, but the waitress was so kind and accommodating. Finally decided on garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, meatball grinder. Meat lasagna, soup and Caesar salad. Everything was on point and delicious. Not a crumb left on the table when we finished. When we left there wasn't an empty table in the place. Highly recommend you give them a try.”

“What a treat. Best ever mussels which were prepared in a pesto sauce. They were an appetizer but so rich and filling they could have been an entree for me. The grilled salmon was also memorable. First visit but not the last!”

“Me and my individual went there last night. We each got our own pizza. Broccoli & chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza. Both were very delicious especially with that crunchy crust not too crunchy but just perfect. The family there was very nice, helpful and funny. All and All definitely will be returning for more pizza.”

You walk in, and everyone starts to know your name… The weight staff is always very friendly and often strike up a conversation which I find something special these days. The food options are always great, and there are always a few specials on the list that catch someone’s eye. The draft beer choices are always rotating and changing which is great; often locally sourced. The bar area is always bustling, and offers a free pool table for patrons. There is also a large covered outdoor dining area for fair weather eating.”

“I’ve been going to this deli for around 4 years, both at their new and old locations, I can say it’s one of the best places to get a quick bite to eat while supporting a local business. Love their early bird special with their egg sandwiches, $2.50 for a meat, egg and cheese sandwich! You can’t beat that especially with how expensive everything has gotten in recent years. The wicked chicken will always be a favorite for me, you can also order mobile with ChowNow which is convenient if you don’t want to call in. Service is great, the girl taking orders is always bright and social, always making for a wonderful experience. Both indoor and outdoor seating, right by the southbury green. I’m glad their new location gives them more foot traffic and exposure.”

“To reviewer tmG9470YS - I think you have reviewed the wrong bakery. Our bakery is spotless, all our baked goods are baked fresh and we don't even use the dumpsters (we dont want to attract bears). So I don't know where you went and a found a dirty bakery and found box mixes in the dumpsters it was not Southbury Baking Company. It must have been another local bakery. “I am OBSESSED with the shakes and teas! Cannoli, vanilla Chai, Pina Colada… açaí berry tea, mango…YUM!!!! Every one I have tried has been amazing. My daughter and I met the owner Kristen the other day for the first time. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place!!!”

“I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!”

“Yum! Yum! Yum!!The cinnamon bread!! I stopped in today - my daughter lives in town; there was a lovely lady there named Mary ( realtor- introduced herself) and suggested the cinnamon bread and she wasn’t kidding !! Delicious!!! I’ll be stopping there on my weekly visits to my daughter!!!”

They need some relaxing jazz, Opera, Sinatra etc. However picked the music for an Italian Restaurand, knows nothing about a relaxing atmosphere!!!!”

“My husband and I LOVE this place! We have been coming here for over 8 years now and it is the best Chinese in the area by far!The original owner was a very nice man, always remembered his customers by name and was a staple of the restaurant. When he unfortunately passed, his family took over and they are just as wonderful. I come here from New York (I travel between the tri-state for work frequently), and he always makes me feel welcome when I return. It can be a few months before he sees me again, but he remembers not only me, but my go-to order as well.The food is just as great as the people! Closest thing to NYC Chinese food I have found outside of NYC.”

“The sign on the door says please wear a mask regardless of vaccination status but when I walked in the chump behind the counter making sandwiches has his mask over his chin not covering his nose and half his mouth. What kind of crap is that?”

“We actually went twice in one weekend! We showed up without reservations, party of 10, on a Friday for lunch. They set us up quickly, the food was really good, and the staff were friendly.Then we had reservations for Sat evening for a party of 20 people. They were all set and ready for us. Food and drinks were very good. The waitress was awesome! Our guests came from all over the Northeast, and they were pleasantly surprised by the food. Thank you from the Colonial Bloodhound Club!”
