Gluten-Free Restaurants near Crystal Lake, IL

“I love coming in for celiac friendly treats. Picked up 11 lemon cookies for a friends bday. It was $40 unfortunately I won’t can’t afford that all the time. Why does gluten free items have to be so expensive? Also could use a bit more lemon for that price. Still 5 ⭐️ but I wanted to share a couple suggestions.“

“The hostess was pleasant, but generic "your table is being cleaned now" (No it wasn't. It is a small, single dining room. There were no tables being cleaned) and we stood 10 minutes waiting for our reservation. But, the waitress was bubbly, positive and energetic. Food was a out of the ordinary and good. A bit pricey, but ok. One negative thing is the layout of the building. Only one restroom in the back of the place, meaning the lively bar patrons had to travel past every single diner to use the facilities. A bit of a turn off. But overall, a nice date night out.“

“This place definitely deserves over 5 stars. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, never a long wait, and there açaí bowls are top tier. I drove over an hour an half away for açaí bowls in libertyville. I happened to stumble across this place which is now only a 40 min drive. You guys have fresh fruit and definitely give what you pay for.“

“My Wife and I got our wedding cake from Cheshire Cakes, they gave us exactly the vision we had in mind for our wedding cake! It turned out perfect, we would highly recommend Cheshire Cakes!! They were such a pleasure to work with, and even delivered the cake and set up our cake toppers, we did not have to worry about a thing!“

“I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I didn’t think the food was noteworthy. I got a chicken and artichoke panini and it was pretty good, but greasy. The potato salad, on the other hand was the worst I’ve ever had. Being from Texas, I prefer Mayo and mustard in my potato salad, but I have appreciated just Mayo also. This definitely missed the mark. My daughter got the breakfast burrito and thought it was fine, but not special. The best part of our meal was our lattes, which were delicious! We would return for the lattes and to try the beignets. The service was slow, but not surprising since lunchtime was very busy. Our server was friendly and attentive.“

“My favorite son took me here for a belated birthday. Amy was our server she was not as attentive but did refill my son’s soft drink several times. Food was really good! We had small plates; bacon wrapped dates, veal meat balls, short ribs, and Boursin mash potatoes all yummy.“

We can mix our own favorite combination flavors to gather and add topping in it. The place is good. I noticed it is more affordable to order from kitchen can get 6 roll for $1 a piece and off conveyor $3 for 2 pieces. Some are $4 on conveyor for 4 pieces, all depends.Fantastic spot, glad I chose it, will definitely be back.“

“We typically use the drive thru. We like your food, always fresh and tasty. Tonight I had the chicken avocado and strawberry salad. The salad was fresh, walnuts were sweet and crispy, dressing was very creamy. The only criticism I have is my chicken avocado and strawberry salad had no avocados. I do understand sometimes you can run out of ingredients or supply chain issues can interfere with menus. I would just ask to have this made known to us upon ordering or upon discovery, all in the interest of good customer service that you usually do deliver.“

“I had a huuuuge craving for quality Fettucine Alfredo, and while I don’t have experience with authentic Italian cuisine, this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Perfectly cooked noodles, amazingly rich flavor, and a HUGE portion of pasta…… Oh my goodness.Even though it was PACKED inside, my wife was contacted in the time alotted and was able to be in and out for take out. She said she had never seen it so full! Can’t wait to visit during date night!This was actually my first time having anything from Cucina Bella, and it was taken to go.
