“This review is long overdue, but I came here when I was visiting my fiancee's family in Minneapolis around Thanksgiving weekend. His brother and sister in law brought us and the rest of the family here for a quick lunch. The bartender that took our order provided amazing service by accommodating all our orders since we were a large group. The pretzel is to die for! It's so large and meant for sharing. I'm from NYC, and this pretzel outperforms better than the stale hot dog stand pretzel you'd find here. I loved the turkey sausage sandwich with the variety of toppings they have. I wish this place were closer to home, but I'd have to wait until I'm back in Minnesota to stop by this place!“

“First time here. Didn't even know where it was, hidden from the main roads. Dive bar atmosphere but I love dive bars. Nice menu selections. Pretty good beer selection. I had fish tacos, which isn't really a dive bar pick, but they were great. One of the people at our table had the chicken pot pie and it looked fabulous. Great server. I'm coming back here now that I know where it is. Hidden gem.“

“Great place for dinner and drinks. Lots of specials to tempt you. We ate hear a couple times because it was near to our hotel. I loved the pace of friendly but relaxed service. Everything we sampled from the menu was delicious! Large selection of tap beers and variety in menu options.“

“I go to many Perkins across the metro area but the Golden Valley one on 394 is by far the best in the area. Ed is always a smiling face, welcoming my friends every morning we visit. This Perkins is always a must visit when we are hungry, bored or remotely hungover.“

“4/17/24: The three of us enjoyed a lovely dinner but more than the food was our wonderful server. I WISH I would have asked for her name!! She was simply outstanding. She helped my wife decide on some “gluten free” options, and she was spot on with her suggestions! We shared a bottle of the Raymond Chardonnay, the Ahi Crisps on cucumbers, the Crispy Shrimp w/Dragon Sauce & Togarashi, the Boneless GF Dry Rub Wings and finally the Buffalo Cauliflower. Because of our server we will return!“

“Fantastic staffs! Inventive menu and cocktails. Our server, Sydney, was fabulous (along with her colleagues) keeping us hydrated. The Pomme Dauphines were beautifully done! The Paper Plane tasted great. My wife really enjoyed the Halibut. The Mussel Soup (Billy Bi Soup) was divine and the Octopus Bolognese was heavy on the tomatoes (a bit too acidic for me). Our friends also enjoyed the Halibut and Spring Chicken. The desserts were game changer: the Carrot Cake and Lemon Tart were exceptional. I wish the dining room has more dampening materials as it was hard to have a conversation.“

Our server was an absolute delight! Knowing when to let us chat and when she needed to take our order! The drinks were fantastic, with some unique flavors! The Paloma punch seemed normal... til you taste the sugar rimmed glass! Yummmm! But the food. WHY is my stomach so small????? For 4 people we got 6 small plates. It was perfect! The Gem salad was delicious, and much bigger than I thought it would be !! Charred cucumbers? Yes, Ima give it an OMgosh! A flavor combo and presentation I couldn't have dreamed up! I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. If you come to Minneapolis, you owe it to yourself to get a Juicy Lucy and Matt’s Bar is unequivocally the best place to get one; fitting, as Matt’s Bar makes the “original” Juicy Lucy. Make sure to get the Lucy all the way with the fried onions, it’s the most authentic way to order this fabulous burger. Just note it is *really* hot and you should allow it to cool for a couple minutes before digging in. After seven plus years of visiting, Matt’s is still often the very first place I visit after landing at MSP.“

“We had our best restaurant experience at Spoon and Stable. Service was impeccable, cocktails were delightful, food was stellar. We shared the bison tartare, snap pea salad, and torchietti pasta for starters. All were terrific. I had the artic char and it was cooked to perfection. Wife had the pork chop and was thrilled. Son had rib eye and ranked it as the 2nd best steak he's ever eaten, behind only Peter Luger in NY. Mother had the Alaskan halibut and loved it. We capped it off with Chocolate Budino, yum, and honey & cream cake, also yum. A fantastic carajillo dessert cocktail put an exclamation point on what was an all around excellent evening.“

“This is a Minneapolis icon and we had never been there before so we decided to try it. The service was amazing but the steaks were ok, definitely not the best steak I've ever had as they claimed. Personally I think Mancinis in St Paul is better. We had the ribeye and filet plus 2 sides and 1 drink each. $324 Definitely a one time place for that $ We did get birthday cake that was amazing however. If you have a lot of money and don't know where to spend it come here.“

“This isn't the first time I'd been to a MyBurger location, but I can safely say it's a good experience at this Edina location. For 2 people, the cost came to about $50, but this included shakes for each of us, special fries, and one of the burgers being a double.Burger quality: it's great. they are juicy and full of flavor. The toppings are also well-executed, and don't fall out everywhere when you try to eat the burger.Fries: the regular fries are fine, but I recommend paying a little more to get one of the seasoned variants. Some people say it's too salty, but I found it to be just right (I like salty food). The sweet potato fries were an even greater premium, but fell a little flat in my opinion due to being undersalted/underseasoned.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come here when I'm looking for a solid burger, and it's nice that a location is now open locally.“

“We recently had dinner for 9 on a Friday night to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and our godfather's 90th. We brought along a menu that we had from the 1960's to show staff . . . prices have changed, but not much else except the carpet, which is as it should be . . . quality is quality! As my Mom noted, we had a DINING experience; we were not just quickly and mindlessly served. Because of that, us younger-fold will be back to JAX to enjoy that experience. But for one night, the JAX staff and owners helped our parents and godfather celebrate old times and again enjoy a "night out on the town" they will not soon forget!
