We had a house-made hummus which is probably the best we've ever had. I had a special, the cioppino, which I rarely see on menus. I make cioppino myself, so I was happy to see that they didn't skimp on the seafood! Our server, Mike, was terrific. This wasn't our first visit to Mill Valley Kitchen - we love coming here!“

“4/17/24: The three of us enjoyed a lovely dinner but more than the food was our wonderful server. I WISH I would have asked for her name!! She was simply outstanding. She helped my wife decide on some “gluten free” options, and she was spot on with her suggestions! We shared a bottle of the Raymond Chardonnay, the Ahi Crisps on cucumbers, the Crispy Shrimp w/Dragon Sauce & Togarashi, the Boneless GF Dry Rub Wings and finally the Buffalo Cauliflower. Because of our server we will return!“

“Fantastic staffs! Inventive menu and cocktails. Our server, Sydney, was fabulous (along with her colleagues) keeping us hydrated. The Pomme Dauphines were beautifully done! The Paper Plane tasted great. My wife really enjoyed the Halibut. The Mussel Soup (Billy Bi Soup) was divine and the Octopus Bolognese was heavy on the tomatoes (a bit too acidic for me). Our friends also enjoyed the Halibut and Spring Chicken. The desserts were game changer: the Carrot Cake and Lemon Tart were exceptional. I wish the dining room has more dampening materials as it was hard to have a conversation.“

“Oh. My. God. My husband brought me here for a birthday dinner. We had a tasting menu put together for our party and from the first bite to the last, we were totally blown away. The duck confit, golden Beets, foccacia, and Yukon Potatoes were among my favorites. The mushrooms were mind blowing- I didn't even realize they were mushrooms at first! The fried porkchop was tasty, amd it was my "least favorite". You will not be disappointed. Kim Tong is amazing. She organized every detail and made me feel really special. I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. If you come to Minneapolis, you owe it to yourself to get a Juicy Lucy and Matt’s Bar is unequivocally the best place to get one; fitting, as Matt’s Bar makes the “original” Juicy Lucy. Make sure to get the Lucy all the way with the fried onions, it’s the most authentic way to order this fabulous burger. Just note it is *really* hot and you should allow it to cool for a couple minutes before digging in. After seven plus years of visiting, Matt’s is still often the very first place I visit after landing at MSP.“

We shared the bison tartare, snap pea salad, and torchietti pasta for starters. All were terrific. I had the artic char and it was cooked to perfection. Wife had the pork chop and was thrilled. Son had rib eye and ranked it as the 2nd best steak he's ever eaten, behind only Peter Luger in NY. Mother had the Alaskan halibut and loved it. We capped it off with Chocolate Budino, yum, and honey & cream cake, also yum. A fantastic carajillo dessert cocktail put an exclamation point on what was an all around excellent evening.“

“An overall fantastic experience. The food is as incredible as it always is. Drinks are poured with a heavy hand. Service is impeccable, personal, professional. The only complaint is how close the tables are together. Two very close tables were extremely loud, to the point that we couldn't hear each other at our own table. “This isn't the first time I'd been to a MyBurger location, but I can safely say it's a good experience at this Edina location. For 2 people, the cost came to about $50, but this included shakes for each of us, special fries, and one of the burgers being a double.Burger quality: it's great. they are juicy and full of flavor. The toppings are also well-executed, and don't fall out everywhere when you try to eat the burger.Fries: the regular fries are fine, but I recommend paying a little more to get one of the seasoned variants. Some people say it's too salty, but I found it to be just right (I like salty food). The sweet potato fries were an even greater premium, but fell a little flat in my opinion due to being undersalted/underseasoned.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come here when I'm looking for a solid burger, and it's nice that a location is now open locally.“

Dinner was a baguette and a roasted bulb of garlic and a bottle of wine. theater in the back with story tellers and fringe artists that kept this transplanted nyer here in the twin cities for 30 years.“

Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.Food is solid, mostly standard bar food, but it's well done with the cheese curds being noteworthy.The beer is definitely the highlight, there is a wide variety of well executed styles with the big barrel aged beers being some of the best in the state.I've been several times, and I'm sure I will be back next time I'm in Minneapolis.“

“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. “This is a quaint restaurant with a high-end tasting menu. You start your journey at the concierge booth, which also doubles as hotel check-in. They escort you through large doors and seat you immediately, assuming you made reservations in advance. Our server was very attentive to our needs and explained the pairing for each of the courses we had. The food was definitely a journey for you palate. The caliber of the kitchen is topnotch! The kitchen is open and right next to the dining area, and we didn't hear a peep out of the chefs. That just shows you the quality of professionalism they have. Smooth and running like a well-oiled machine. I would highly recommend celebrating a special occasion with Alma!“
