“Hey bestie, you need to check this place out! The ambiance is amazing! I was on a work lunch or I would have taken photos of everything, from the fish pond at the front, bright white interior, tons of sunlight, everything was super clean, to the very nice bathrooms. Great date spot or lunch spot either way! We were recommended to get crab rangoon and the server told us they have the best rangoons in Springfield. They were very good, sitting in a flavorful sauce, that I could have spooned off the plate into my mouth, but I held back. My colleague was recommended the Mandarin Chicken, he was very happy with his decision. I ordered the tuna poke bowl, it was a lot like a sushi roll, deconstructed. It was very good, pleasing to the eye, I would totally order it again, but there were so many things I'd love to try on the menu!“

“Had my "Birthday lunch" here yesterday. Soft-shell crab Po'Boy, and man was it fantastic! Not my first time here, but first time reviewing. If you don't try this place you'll never know how good food can be! I LOVE the way my food was seasoned and LOVE that you get your choice of seasonings! This is one of the greatest bars in Springfield for that reason. Not to mention the insanely low drink prices and karaoke DJ's that actually do karaoke the right way. Stepchilds is a place you have to spend a whole night drinking at, to truly understand the nuances that make it so amazing.“

But what takes the cake are the bartenders, they are on their game always, sweet personalities and hardworking individuals!“

“This place is so wonderful! I personally was able to see the GOOD they do outside of helping people have a great time! This year I just happen to know the family they helped out with $1400 for Christmas and it was the first time I had seen smiles on 7 kids faces in a few months their mom is very sick and has been back and forth to St Louis a lot waiting on a kidney and liver transplant so it's been a hard year for this family and to see these kids smiling and to see the relief on the parents face was something like I've never seen. So not only do they serve great drinks and great times at their establishment they are also doing GREAT things in our community. Thank you to everyone who made this families Christmas possible it won't be forgotten you all are amazing ❤“

“We got fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were to die for 10/10 I loved the fried mushrooms, also got the Chicken Hawaiian Club it was huge but so amazing and very much worth the $12 and a plus was the staff was amazing and so nice to us 10/10 experience will definitely be going back “

“I always forget about this little hidden gem when I'm in town visiting, but when I remember it's a great time. Perfect place to hang out with friends shoot some pool enjoy some cheap drinks and amazing food. I know that is weird saying a bar has amazing food, but it's definitely not you typical bar food. The chicken wing are like crack so good and addictive even though they are just naked and fried soooo tasty definitely recommended! They have a touch tunes so you can play music you want to hear, and they have different things throughout the week such as karaoke. If you work 3rd shift and just getting off and want to have a drink afterwork this is the perfect place because they open up pretty early.“
