“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!“

“Absolutely love this place! Almost scared to rate it so high and encourage others to stop in. But they truly do deserve it. Wonderful staff always available to answer questions and give insight on their vast menu of specialty cocktails and Mezcal flights. Amazing atmosphere offering both inside and outside seating with heaters to take the edge off the winter temperatures. It is a small building/occupancy but I think it truly adds to the ambience of the space. And to top it off the food truck parked just behind is amazing.Parking: Lot between the brewery and Anoche has plenty of parking. Also a few spots on the street.Kid-friendliness: Not a location I would recommend taking your kiddos.“

It was our first time in Asheville visiting friends who moved here over a year ago. This was a very popular spot for an evening snack. They had all the classic pastries that you’d hope for, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies. We were pleased and came out with one pastry and 2 chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. They were fantastic!“

(Not the cheapo plain cinnamon kind ya know?) Also the staff were so kind. It was still good though. I say go give it a try! There’s only drive thru or order and pay by phone only. You couldn’t eat inside because the family was inside and they had small children there. “The good: staff was nice, place was cute, good selection of drinks, my 4 friends with me all had something different and everyone of their drinks was delicious.The bad: I got a "cookies and dream" frapp. I feel like most people would be assuming this was a cookies and cream type drink utilizing oreos or chocolate cookies. No. This is a gingersnap based drink, no where on the menu does this say this. I was already out on the road when I took my first sip. Unfortunately I am allergic to ginger so couldn't drink it.“

“I go to Izzy's on Lexington regularly. It's my favorite coffee shop in Asheville. Usually Rand is the barista when I show up and he's great at his job and he's warm and friendly. The coffee is good and the baked goods (especially the fig and olive scone) are delicious. The coffee shop has great art that rotates, local artists are supported. I would recommend Izzy's to anyone and have nothing but good things to say about it.“

The apple ls in the apple fritter obviously real, tart and crisp, not simply ‘canned apple pie filling’. Balance of flavors and not overwhelmingly sweet. Perfect texture. Perfectly satisfying. The only problem is I don’ live here. Now what will I do eat my local donut? I don’t think I’ll be able to.“

“This place is so great that we ate breakfast there every morning that we were in Asheville. On day one I had the Goat of Monte Cristo. They put their homemade raspberry preserve on it and it was mouth watering. I actually asked if I could buy a jar of it and bless their hearts they sold me a jar of the preserve, which is something that they don't normally do. Thanks you so much again. I am enjoying it at home now. Everything we ate was excellent, every day. They are located in the Grove Arcade Building. DON'T MISS IT!!!!“

“If you've got a sweet tooth and want high quality goodies, come here!Portions are large, not "just make it big" but great quality ingredients and execution.My favorite is I think called blueberry cream cheese coffee cake - it's cake-like on the bottom half and almost but not quite cheesecake on the top.Also pictured here is the carrot pineapple muffin, which is moist with a whole lotta frosting on top.I've had the cinnamon roll before, it's huge and doughy and moist and not too sweet, very more-ish.For takeout they have strong paper cake boxes in a variety of sizes to protect your goodies while you transport them.“
