You know those "grab-bag" things they used to have like at school fairs? You'd pay like 50 cents and get a paper bag that would have stuff in it and you wouldn't know what you got until you open the bag? That's what it's always been like for my wife at this Sonic: She'd order the same thing every time (Easy! Hold the lettuce and onions! How hard is that?) but she'd always get something different from what she ordered. So tonight she said she felt like getting a grab bag so we went over there to see what would be in the bag when we got home. She was surprised to see that they gave her exactly what she ordered! Wow! First time! But wait; this time I got the grab bag! They were almost right; they gave me mayo instead of mustard. But really! How hard is it to get that right? I mean, really! How hard is that? And a phone call to the manager (after the first couple times they screwed up) did no good. So, since this time they screwed up my order instead of hers, it means that they have never, not once, gotten our order right in 5 years.
