“Such a fan of Botanist and Barrel’s ciders and wines. I love that they are all natural and contain no weird additives. Extra brownie points since their organic ingredients are sourced locally from their farm or other local sources! Love the tasting rooms ambiance and chill vibes. Highly recommend!!“

Biltmore Estate Winery Winery • $$$

“Very good winery. We had toured the gardens and almost did not go over to the winery as we expected a very quick and simple tasting. Our expectations were wrong. The tasting included 5 wines that we could share. Our server, Blake, was knowledgeable and friendly and did an excellent job. The wines were generally very good and best of all, affordable.“

Biltmore Wineries • $$$

“I would recommend visiting this place. The architecture and style is something rarely seen in America. It was like walking through a royal estate in Europe. A little pricey but well worth the money. There are many stairs but you can move at your own pace. The audio guide is easy to use and is pretty informative. Being winter the grounds were not very green, but the garden conservatory made up for it. The plants in there were gorgeous.“

“Finally stopped in here the other day and loved it. Kind of an odd location on new Leicester/the other side of Patton. The taproom is big and beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating.Only one bartender was working, but it was still a little slow due to the early time on Friday. She was wonderful and knowledgeable and approachable. They have a ton of options and always offer their flagship. We were interested in the more unique and seasonal ciders as I’ve had the others. I like that these siders are not very sweet and they are more dry. Wonderful flavors. The sampler was certainly worth it. I also got a rose one that I loved.Kid, friendly with popcorn bar and apple cider slushy. Plenty of tables all around to space out. Clean and beautiful inside a little pricey ($7-$8 a drink) but everywhere in Asheville is these days.“

289 Lyman St, Asheville

“Very cool building and place to spend a few hours drinking wine. Selection was decent. Recommend starting with a flight. Had a couple of types of beer. For food all they have are chips in bags. Which is disappointing. We left after an hour 1/2 because people wanted at least appetizers. They advertised a "wine club" but when we asked the staff about it they said they really didn't know anything and go look at the website.“
