I moved to Black Mountain 7 years ago and heard the mantra, "Theres no good Chinese food in WNC" I even drove as far as Greenville, SC to get really spectacular and fresh Chinese cuisine. Something happened with No. 1. I don't know if the place changed hands or chefs over the years but going back recently was a major improvement. This is good Chinese food. My coworkers and I get food here often and we enjoy it. I love the Singapore chow Mei fun. They do a good job and they have very friendly staff. We appreciate it.

Ordered Ta Chen chicken, sauce and veggies were good, unfortunately the crispy chunks of chicken were nothing but breading, no chicken what so ever. Pretty disappointing for the price.
