This place was packed for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and the hostess warned us that the kitchen was backed up but we weren't in a rush. My husband had to try the deep fried pickle appetizer which he enjoyed. I asked the server for gluten free options and she was very helpful. Located in the charming town of Black Mountain that serves affordable food..all homemade from local ingredients. Many gluten free items.Super friendly staff . Seating indoors and out.Started with Beer Pickle Spears which are Ale Battered with homemade ranch. I had the Trailhead burger with a salad and huge order of onion rings and 2 ice cold beers. Large portions at a very reasonable price and great quality.They have outdoor seating on the deck which I really like too!
