“Love the Meadows area. It did feel like a daycare center on Friday afternoon. Moved over to watch volleyball to avoid the hoard of kids. Beer was nice. Had some small batch IPA that was nice. Really wish they would open up the roof deck to us instead of events only.“
“Our first stop on our first trip to Asheville. Discovered this when looking for walkable dining from Cedar Crest Inn. If you don’t mind a little bit without sidewalks, it was an easy 20 minutes. We split a rice bowl and artichoke dip which was plenty for us and enjoyed a variety of beverages throughout. Food was great especially for a brewery, and the beer is among top-tier. Lots of seating, though outdoor was a little limited and a bit buggy by the creek in the backyard. Staff was really friendly and attentive, and the venue was fun and well kept. Hoping to make some time to come back!“
“This brewery is kind of hidden compared to the other cluster of breweries in Asheville, but they're brewing good beers and has a chill vibe. We had a delicious fruited sour and German-style beer. We also sampled a few of their other beers on tap and everything tasted clean. We would've visited this place twice but didn't have enough time! Definitely visit if you have a chance.“

“By far the most atmospherically pleasing brewery I've ever visited. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, the beverages are delicious. Abundant use of natural wood and huge tropical plants in the open, airy space make me want to never leave. Lots of outdoor space too. Love this place!“
“An absolute gem in the Asheville craft beer scene and an easy hop from Sierra Nevada. My favorite this time was the limited release Where the Boat Leaves From - a delightful toasted coconut blonde ale. My husband chose an IPA flight and can’t decide between the Blue Ghost IPA and the Grapefruit IPA for his favorite. There is so much to love about what this brewery is up to! Their Hungry Ghost food truck was a delicious surprise and their firefly Biergarten is magical at twilight…“

“Such a great spot. We were a little nervous to enter as it's located in an industrial area and the windows are covered but once inside we felt very comfortable. Belinda was super welcoming and explained the flights and tasting options to us. The other customers were fun too, comparing our notes and just chatting in general. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting and took a growler to go. Cider over Beer any day. Would definitely visit again if ever in the area.“
“Loved the food, and the beer was incredible, the atmosphere would melt cupids heart but I had to give you a four because it's 20 degrees outside and the damn mens bathroom almost froze my pickle off. Needless to say, the beer was excellent, causing way tomany bathroom trips.“

“As far as 12 bones being goes. Environment is laid back and fun, staff where informative and responsive beer was good. I haven't had the BBQ here but I can't imagine it's much different then the other location..... Ribs are the best... Period!“
“Beer reigns supreme at Black Mountain Brewing, and you're sure to find something tempting when you stop in. If you're not sure, they'll have something to recommend from the plethora they offer. Personally, I've enjoyed their dark and seasonal beers, but they offer so much more to please multiple palates. If you're walking around Black Mountain and need a spot to take a load off, stop in! They've got cozy seating inside and two covered decks outside, complete with heaters for the chilly weather. Most often there's wonderful local acoustic music and singers out there to listen to while you enjoy their delicious beverages. And if you'd like food to accompany, you can bring something from one of the surrounding businesses or try their on site BBQ food truck that's parked out back-a treat if you enjoy BBQ! To top it off, the staff and service is always welcoming, helpful and at the ready for any questions!“
“We ordered a Smokehouse Poutine and smoked olives. The poutine is curly fries (the best fries than I have ever tasted) and pulled pork, beer cheese sauce. The olives were a surprise for me, an incredible flavor! I recommend it. A great visit if you are around Black Mountain.“
“Relaxing. Outdoor taproom and picnic tables in the shade. Beer was great. Had the pale ale and brown ale. Both were fantastic and I took home some cans. They have everything on tap except the nitro stout in cans. Bluegrass music in the background. Would def recommend. Bathrooms are portable toilets. They have a big stage and music on Sundays but we weren’t there for the music. 100% recommend for some relaxing beers. You drive behind the buildings and park in the field.“
“Wow! We wanted traditional, hand tossed pizza and NOT a tiny Neapolitan style pie. French Broad Pizza was just what we wanted, huge slices, fresh from the oven, delicious ingredients and reasonable prices considering the size of the pizzas. The pizza counter is in the rear of French Broad Brewery and the neighboring distillery. It's very charming and has outdoor seating on its deck. We really enjoyed the pizza and the setting. Highly recommend French Broad Pizza ?????“
“It is a nice lil spot, visited for the reggae show. They've got food over at french broad pizza, which has more than just pizza, salads and subs too. Didnt get a chance to try out the brewery's selection of items. Also, they have a tiny area besides the pizza thats just a few tables and its on the grass. Its a super relaxing area to chill and take a break, I wish more places had a spot like this.Indoor space good for small events, but I couldnt figure out where the outdoor space for larger events is (maybe parking lot?)“
“This place was cool for everyone. Lots of activities for the whole family. They operate out of an old train car. All the details of this place were well done. I like the ode to a little disc golf. I am only giving four stars because the one beer I had time for I didn’t really like. Could be my fault but that was the only sample I had.“
