“I was told to stop here from my sister and she was right. The baked goods looked amazing. I got a gluten free pizza. It was the potato but I subbed prosciutto instead of potatoes, yes nightshade allergy. It was delicious. Next time I’m buying all of the baked goods. Also, service was wonderful and friendly.Thank you! Will be back soon :)“

“Delicious food, friendly staff, welcoming patio dining area. I had the Grits & Greens bowl with brisket. Flavorful but not too salty. Happy chickens roaming, good music selection, tables were private and the crowd friendly. Local hard cider. Will be back!“

“Really great variety of Thai food options. It is the only place in the AVL area I have found that offers fresh papaya salad. And they also offer steamed tofu, where many other Thai places only offer deep-fried. You can order to your level of spiciness. Personally, I think level 3 is pretty hot, so start out gradually. Great flavors. Many options. Friendly staff. Convenient location.“

“I love Campfire! The Camp theme is thoughtfully curated and makes you nostalgic whether or not you went to camp! And the food and service are wonderful- such friendly and welcoming staff, and Fried Chicken night could easily make me a Tuesday regular, but there are so many other delicious things in the menu! And if you enjoy a cocktail, the bar is creative and accommodating for your tastes, and always satisfies.“

“Picked up a pizza and two orders of pasta. By far the best pizza in the area. Tthe pasta portion is enormous and 2 orders fed us for 2 dinners and 2 lunches plus a snack. The people are lovely and are giving back to our community through a food for the hungry program. They also make a damn good cannoli! Love this place. Just try it. Take out only but they have a couple of picnic tables outside.“
“Very chill, family owned winery. The owner and his pup greeted us upon arrival. FYI we had 3 Ubers cancel on our ride to bold rock. I asked a “stranger” in the parking lot for a ride who was more than happy to give us a ride! Come to find out he worked there! Super awesome guy didn’t even want to take our money for the ride!!! Def will be back!“
“I have been to many fine drinking establishments in my life but the Blue Door is my all time favorite. It has over 500 beers to choose from under perfect refrigeration. In addition there are 20 rotating taps of excellent curated beers from the best local and regional craft breweries. If that sounds like too many choices, just ask the owners John or AJ to help you. Tell them what you like and they will find a perfect match for you. They have been amazing in helping me try new beers but matching it to what I enjoy. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and has a feeling of comfort to it that invites you to relax. I highly recommend the Blue Door.“

“On vacation from Michigan, we needed a late lunch after hiking to multiple falls in the mountains. What a find! It was warm and breezy outside; perfect for their bright picnic tables on the patio. The menu has astonishing variety and is all fresh ingredients, made onsite. We each ordered 2 and had the option of flour or corn tortillas. We tried gyro, fish (grilled), steak and carnitas. Each has perfect seasoning and flavor.Unlimited chip basket came with a salsa trio. Again, each flavor was unique and delicious. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If we get back to the area, this place has earned a repeat visit.Kid-friendliness: Indoor and outdoor seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance and patio area“

“Wow - this was the best scooped frozen custard I've ever had. I am a big purist when it comes to ice cream and other frozen desserts. I don't order blended, topped, mixed stuff. I want only the dessert in its purest form. And this place is excellent for that. It was super refreshing after an afternoon of hiking. We got fast service and very generous servings. I could only eat about 2/3 of the double scoop. My husband had about 3/4 of a medium Whit-zer (? Sorry if I'm spelling that wrong!).“

“My husband and I had a very nice time at Appalachian Ridge. We arrived shortly after they opened and since it was a weekday we ended up being the only ones here. It was so beautiful and peaceful out on the patio. They have tons of pretty areas on different levels outside as well as a gorgeous inside bar area. All of the ciders tasted good and the service was good as well. Each time we are in the area we will make this one of our stops.“

“The best shrimp quesadilla you can get in 50 miles with sine of their Awesome red hot sauce and AI for extra limes and you have a perfect lunch. Another seriously good hidden gem. The steak isn’t my favorite.. tends to be a little tougher than necessary the times I’ve tried it. They have Mexican Coke in the bottle which is a big yes. Don’t go there for their ambiance. Go there for a quick to go order, they accept order aheads. But seriously, the pastor tacos with extra lime and their red hot sauce is very crave-able and especially the shrimp quesadilla.. just to be clear.. on the shrimp…. Quesadilla….. Yep.“

“We come here as much as we can when going out with the group of us. Although they do not sell food, they have rotating food trucks. Nom Sense Jalisco, mmmmm! Beer is an overwhelming variety. If you can't find something you like, you don't like beer. Craft beer from all over, along with the old time favorites. On the cooler nights, they keep the large outdoor heaters going within a small enclosed area, but now that weather is turing nicer, the overhead doors are up and enjoying trivia again.“

“We’re become frequent visitors over the past few years. Everything is impeccable from chicken to doughnut. The service is so fast and friendly. We’ve only had to go back up to the counter after ordering on one occasion and they were so quick to reconcile and even gave us a box of doughnuts to take home!! We love “
“We visited this brewery during our week long trip to Pisgah with our two German shorthair pointers. Our hike was rained out, though we attempted it anyway. After aborting the hike due to weather, we decided to look for a place to get a mid-day beer. We looked at a couple breweries, even drove to Sierra Nevada Brewery. SN was disappointing since their outdoor area was not covered nor open for service apparently. We then went to Burning Blush to check it out. This was also one of few places open at noon (and it was a weekday). Lucky for us, they allow pups inside, which was a plus given the weather. The place was quiet but as I said, was a weekday with terrible weather. The beers were great, the food truck was amazing, and the staff were very kind. They gave our pups a few biscuits (which they loved). My dogs are my kids, so I'm happy to have found this place! Def recommend if traveling with furry friends! We would 100% go back when we are in the area again. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS TO OUR POINTERS!“
“My husband and I stopped here, our last full day before we head back home to michigan, and I have to say this place was amazing! The atmosphere was 10/10, the service was 10/10 and the beer as well, 10/10. I asked the girl at the counter who was on the shorter side with brown hair (I didn't catch her name but she was awesome) what beer I should try because I was having a hard time deciding and then she suggested a few to sample so I did. I really liked them all! I also bought a four pack and she said she'd leave it in the fridge for when I'm ready to leave and when I went up there to grab it I hadn't even said anything yet and she was grabbing the pack and putting it in a bag for me. I wish I lived closer!!“
“Great traditional beer, cool atmosphere and a full bar if you're not feeling beer. We didn't try the food but love that they offer American and German options. Appreciate Sean, the bartender, suggesting some other great local places to visit. Like the half pour option!“
“Dry Falls Brewing has an amazing vibe with an excellent variety of tasty beers. Jeff the owner sets the bar for fantastic customer service and knowledge of craft beer. Not only did he and his team do a great job of taking care of us, he also hooked us up with dinner reservations for 8 at a great restaurant, the Flat Rock Wood Room, on a Saturday night.“

“I live pretty close to this spot and eat here fairly regularly. This is honestly one of my top pizza spots in the greater Asheville area. I really love everything I've ever had here. I tend to order either the jerk pizza or the Greek, but there's nothing but great options here. Highly recommended.“

“Stopped out of curiosity- wasn't terribly hungry. I was greeted with a smile and told that 2 tacos would be perfect for my hunger level. Don't know what got into me- I generally don't order fish from a food truck unless I'm familiar with it- but I had a hankering for it so got the fish tacos. I was so pleasantly surprised. And for $6, you cannot go wrong. The location is kind off the beaten path, and there were still cars in and out mid-afternoon. So obviously this place is a known little treasure.Clean.You can call orders ahead at 828-458-3370 (I should've took a pic of the menu. Next time, because I will definitely go back).“
“Pretty good selection of beers, great band and lots of indoor seating. Easy parking. Food via food truck outside and some finger food inside, but no restaurant. It is very much a beer lover's brewery, but offers wine, sodas and hot tea also.“

“Lovely little spot. The roasted turkey and cheddar sandwich was good, the spinach and feta quiche was good, the bread was delicious. For dessert we got a brownie which was super rich with chocolate but good. The blackberry lemon scone was the best. Would certainly stop in again for a quick bite and treat.“

“Another great night at the Purple Onion. The staff is terrific - they work together and serve with the right pace and attention. Last night we enjoyed salads and a pizza and not disappointed. The trout dip we started with was very flavorful and served hot. Crème brûlée to end the evening was perfect. The Onion offers a great reservation setup for live music. Thanks again!“
“A great recommendation from a new friend. GORGEOUS views and spectacular atmosphere. Ok wines... Asheville is heavy on beers and breweries, obviously. But if you don't mind going a little out of your way, there are some great wineries hidden in them thar hills! After making friends with fellow trivia-ers who were local to the area, they suggested Stone Ashe to us for a visit the next day. The weather was spectacular, so a hilltop wine-sippin' trip was definitely in the cards. Just outside of the Asheville area, with plenty of parking, great service and unbelievable scenery! I am so glad we made the trip! Though I will say, I did not like any of the wines which I why I am withholding a fifth star. Taste is subjective, but I usually find something I would want a full glass of or a bottle to take home...not so much here. And it was not inexpensive. But overall, the visit here was more than the sum of its parts. They also offer food, but we had done brunch before we cam here so we didn't need to take advantage of that. I would be open to a return visit (assuming different wines had been made/released) especially with a group for a meal or a flight.“

“We’ve eaten here for ten years already, having discovered Pita Express just on a visit to Hendersonville. From that day on, Lina always remembered our names and treated us like guest family! The food is authentic, healthy and tastes terrific! I have so many food sensitivities, and Lina remembers them always so that my orders are perfect. What kind and caring service we get here! Highly recommend this restaurant!Vegetarian options: Salads and salad combos are available, as well as specific menu items listed as vegetarian. So many items on the vegetarian plate, it’s hard to eat all of it.Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten and dairy free, plus have had several trial dietary eliminations and all have been accommodated here.Parking: Even shade parking is available!Kid-friendliness: And dog friendly with outdoor seating!“
“My absolute favorite winery in the AVL area. They always have fun live music, great food trucks and an amazing selection of wine. They have something for everyone. Staff are super friendly, long term employees who I've gotten to interact with for many years.“

“Great little bar in downtown Saluda to grab a drink. They had a good selection of local craft beer on tap, as well as a fridge full of cans and bottles. The bartender was on the ball and very sweet. She knew all the locals by name and was able to recommend beers to the new people that came in based on their taste. Was obvious that she knew the menu very well. I was impressed, a very friendly spot. I can see why so many locals like coming here. You can sit at the bar or they have a good size area outside with seating.“
“Charming place, super friendly owner and staff and very yummy drinks . Went on the Wed songwriters in the round night. Good songs and talented local musicians in an intimate setting, telling stories about their songs, harmonizing together. Really enjoyed it and I highly recommend.“
“fantastic. my fiancée and I both loved our snow cones and our dogs were so delighted with their cute pup cups! this is a snow cone place that has actually good flavors and fluffy “snow,” not just ice chips. highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.“

“If you’re like me and prefer sweet, flavored coffee I’d suggest you get extra flavoring. Like a lot of it. All of the coffee tastes the same, so you could be expecting something with a burst of cinnamon and just taste coffee with milk. I've tried a new coffee every time coming here, each being a flavorful description, not tasting any of said flavor. Honestly a bit disappointed. I love everything else about this place, the atmosphere, the workers, the food and especially the smoothies. But their coffee…it’s all the same thing imo.“

“We left our previously loyal vineyard to visit this one and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles. Our tasting was fantastic, (guy with bun) couldn’t have delivered better service. The wine was fantastic from white to red. We left with two bottles. The outdoor atmosphere was beautiful with a great fireplace. We are loyal customer of Marked Tree in the future.“
