Barn Door is fantastic! We were warmly greeted by the owners and then they explained their ciders and menu. We got a cider flight and a cheese board. It was delightful, delicious, and everything was excellent. The ciders were interesting, flavorful, and paired well with the cheese board. The atmosphere is very peaceful and a nice retreat away from the touristy, crowded mess of downtown Asheville. Fabulous! Dry ciders, but they have syrups to sweeten to your taste if that's your desire. Most cideries & breweries have lousy wines, but this one has a lovely red that pairs beautifully with their grilled olives (omg, try these!). Beautiful covered porch with fans. Lovely green area. All in all, a wonderful spot with friendly hosts & a great experience.
