“We found this little gem by chance and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, kid friendly (albeit its an adult place). We sat at a small corner table by the bar. We enjoyed some sharable plates, great wines, mocktails for the kids, excellent wines and my wife a great Vesper made by Luci (the bartender). But the cherry on top was the fact that she made a perfect Irish Coffee - a simple drink, but buttered by 99% of the bar tenders. We will be back.”

I got the poke bowl (a delicious combination of tuna, cucumbers and tomatoes in sauce) and hubby got the fried chicken sandwich….I think it is our new favorite chicken sandwich in Asheville. “We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.”

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!”

“Delicious meal at Little D's. We had 4 small plates: beets with goat cheese, Mars Hill mushrooms, scallops with risotto, pork ribs. Nuanced and elevated flavored. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc to pair. Attentive and helpful service. Gorgeous dining room. The beets were my favorite. A special place worthy of special occasions or just a regular date night.”

“Limited menu but food was amazing! Had the ropa vieja on a arepa con queso and yuca fries. All fresh and again delicious. Mostly outdoor with a few indoor counter top seats which made it more personal with owner who was eager to please. Highly recommend.”

“Restarted, it with crab stuffed mushrooms and spinach, crab meat oysters. They were delicious then we ended it with two lobsters, potatoes and corn and also a salad. Everything was delicious and our waitress was so kind. She even cracked our lobster and took all the meat out of it for us..”

“Today was my family's first Crumbl experience. Everyone has been raving about these cookies. This was a fun weekday treat. We don't do a ton of sweets in our family, so we are selective in what we splurge with. This was so worth it and the service was speedy. The people working here were very sweet too. “We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”
