“On 09/05/2024, my family and I went for dinner, ordered gyuru lagman, classic lagman and dapanji and they immediately brought us baursaks as a compliment and they turned out to be fresh and very tasty, then they brought us our orders and we were very delighted with the taste of lagman because that we haven’t tried such a real Uyghur lagman in New York City for a long time. The establishment is very clean and this is one of the most important priorities! And we really liked that they brought it in disposable dishes, starting with glasses, because it is much more hygienic than using reusable dishes, because with reusable dishes you don’t know which person ate before you and how they washed him, but disposable dishes are the most hygienic dishes! Well done for coming up with this, may the Almighty give you success!“

“Awesome food, very authentic. Our server was very friendly and professional. We had a great time. Favorite dishes were baba ghanouj, hummus with meat and the cauliflower steak. Red wine was so good. We sat near a sunny window and there was fairuz music so the atmosphere was perfect for a lebanese.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs. My toddler liked the food.“

“The hype is real! This place is no joke! For months I had been hearing about Food Street being the best Pakistani street food in town so I had to come check it out for myself all the way from Brooklyn,NY!Everything from the gappa chaat to the hangry beef burger to chicken paratha roll was just PERFECT. And don’t even get me started about the chai! Authentic truck waali chai for those missing the Pakistani roadside chai.Thank you Moeez bhai for the complimentary jalebi and for your hospitality!I’ll be back with a way bigger crowd very soon!“

“I can’t emphasize enough how much we absolutely love BIRRIA LES. Perfect tacos, perfect service, perfect vibes, all at a perfect price. We probably come here once a week, and the food is consistently delicious. The dumplings are juicy and flavorful- it’s my favorite thing on the menu. And it’s all halal! Wide variety of options too. If you’re in the city, it’s a must stop and have situation. Like, MUST. So slay. Also, we love Sumaita; staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s like, Super Slay. They are also open late btw. Anyway, I dream about it in an earnest but also a very critical way. Not even a joke. So yeah you should definitely try it!“

The customer service was top-notch, with quick and efficient service. The spot was also very clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I give Falafel Guys two thumbs up and highly recommend trying their delicious food!“

“Located north of Radio city hall, there seems to be a new competitor coming up for Adel's famous halal. This place is run by Afghans and they are really warm and welcoming people to their food truck also the service is quick while the food is served hot and fresh. After reading some reviews here, I opted for a chicken chapli kebab platter. Chapli kebab is basically a ethnic Pashtun dish from the border region of Afghanistan-Pakistan. The minced chicken was good while adding the right amount of spices to give a succulent taste, for the first time, I had cumin rice and it tasted good and was a welcome change from the regular saffron rice available elsewhere. These people provided fries alongside salad and topped it with white sauce which had the right amount of thickness while their mint sauce was a welcome addition to this. I don't usually go for the spicy sauce as I'm not a big fan of it.Overall it's a great experience to try something for the first time apart from halal guys and adel's. The big advantage of the food is that it lacks food coloring like adel's and whatever prepared is done in the right way while also the wait time is very less compared to adel's and halal guys.“

“Service and food was excellent! I got the combo over rice and it had a nice balance of flavors and textures. The meat had a nice spicy flavor that paired well with the creamy white sauce and rice. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them and helps balance out the soft textures of the dish. I would recommend this dish and get it again.“

“I really enjoyed it. I just got a mix gyro. Chicken was really good, so was the lamb, pita bread was fresh. Just wish they had green sauce. But the hot sauce and white sauce is good. Hot sauce is not too hot at all. Also they have tables which is great for when your hungry and it’s freezing out :) the guy was also very very nice“

“There’s not a whole lot that’s wrong with Farook’s tbh. I’ll pick him over Halal Guys or Adele any day of the week, given the price and wait time. However, I’m personally a fan of Santa Halal which is the cart next to Farook’s.But, that’s a personal preference. Farook is pretty great too.“

“Best food we ate in NYC, especially because we can't get it in San Francisco. The $10 price point makes it even more delicious and worth the hour wait in line. Portions are perfect for post-show munchies and you can tell the meat is so fresh. Always ask for extra white sauce!“

Every dish is authentic and delicious. From their fresh mint lemonade to their dessert, everything was wonderful. I hope they stay around for a long time because we’ll be eating here more often. “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“

“I was passing by the neighborhood the other night, and needed to grab some food as I was planning on working late. This restaurant showed up on my yelp search and was highly rated so I decided to pop in and give their food a try. The vibe here is mostly takeout, but they do have a few seats if you choose to sit here and enjoy your meal. Interior is very utilitarian, it's a main ordering desk with a salad station and the kitchen in the back. Cashier was friendly and helped me pick from their various menu options and suggested the chicken kebab. I asked for the Afghan rice with it because I am such a huge fan of fried carrots and raisins. Service was pretty quick, I didn't have to wait too long for my food to get ready and they were generous with the side sauces. I found the food really delicious, the topping of carrots was very well done, and the rice was fluffy without being too heavy or greasy, which I liked. The chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, it was not dry and I like the flavors on it although I do think that it could use a little bit more seasoning. For my taste, I did find the kebab a little bit on the bland side. Salad was good and the sauces complemented the meal very well. The white sauce was creamy without being too heavy and the red sauce was a good consistency and appropriately spicy. If you are in the neighborhood, come through and give this place a shot, they are definitely dishing out some amazing food.“

“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. A HuGE plus you have the Richard Tucker (google him) Park right across the street for seating. Linda“

“Went to Korai Kitchen earlier this month for the Dawat to celebrate a special occasion. Nur-E was very helpful in making sure we were able to make our reservations on the desired date. The eight course feast was exceptional. I have never had Bengali cuisine before, and found the dishes and flavors to be fantastic. We were also encouraged to eat with our hands which I did, but don't worry, utensils are also provided! There are so many wonderful dishes, and you will absolutely want to try everything, so be sure to go hungry and ready for a feast. The service was also superb, the Nur-E, the host, was also friendly, enthusiastic, and a lot of fun, and it was wonderful meeting Amma, the chef, who made the rounds. All in all, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!“

“Got the chicken over rice here and wasn't expecting much but was surprised by the value and taste. The serving was more than enough for two people and the taste was good. “Got to be the most flavourful chicken doner I ever had and I am saying this after exploring food through 20+ countries. I tried their doner at 11 in the morning and it was a burst of flavours in my mouth. Great hospitality as they helped me charge my phone as I finish my meal. This review is 5 months late as I visited them in September 2023 but I still remember their taste of doner.“

“This restaurant boasts a cozy and immaculate ambiance. While the service may have been a tad slow, the servers' exceptional demeanor compensated for any delay. Despite managing solo, he displayed remarkable patience and attentiveness. The cuisine was enjoyable overall, although the kebabs were slightly undercooked to personal preference. However, the standout was undeniably the Somsa, arguably one of the finest in all of NYC.“

“I visited this restaurant after being introduced to it by a friend from Turkey.Recommended by a friend①Iskender — 26.50$Gyro served over bread with yogurt & fresh tomato② Baklava — 7.95$my favorite③ Bababganush — 7.95$Smoked eggplant puree, tahini, garlic, olive oil & lemon juiceI ordered 3 items.A large bread and a small bread are included as a service. The taste is absolutely delicious! !I never knew Turkish food was so delicious. After eating it, I fell in love with Turkish cuisine.I want to plan a trip to Turkey. The portion was so large that I took it out and split it into two meals.I've loved baklava since I was in Japan, and I used to buy it at Nadir Gullu in Matsuya Ginza even before it became a permanent store, but it's cheaper and bigger than there. Both flavors are delicious!Best of all, you can buy 4 pieces of baklava for $7.95, which is a great deal. And the owner's smile is wonderful. He had a smile on his face from the moment I entered the store, and I couldn't help but smile. The take-out packaging is also very careful.I think it's a very good store. I will visit again.Dear friend, thank you for letting me know about such a wonderful shop.“

“One of my recent finds in Staten Island. I wish it was close to where I live so I can save money on Uber eats ! I have ordered a lot from this place & almost every time the food is good if Uber eats is not late !I love their fried chicken with honey barbecue & mango habanero , Beef cheese Steak, & recently tried their Nashville hot chicken over fries! Oh boy I am in love, can't wait to get it again ! That's one of my favorite new food I tried so far !I also was in that area in Ramadan & got some food from the store ! There is no spot to seat down to eat actually. I wish they do great business & able to make the store bigger where you can seat & enjoy their fresh food . Because by the time Uber eats brings the food it gets cold ! And that's always very unpleasant! The service was excellent, they were very respectful kind & helpful. Place looks clean , get to meet lots of brothers from different countries coming together to run this place ! Such an accomplishment ! Hope in time the taste & service stays great! And also price could go little lower, because it's little expensive! But the truth is I rather pay extra to yummy food & Ofcource I don't have to worry about the meat being halal or not..!Almost forgot to mention don’t forget to try their Zinger sauce, yum!Keep up the awesome job guys, I appreciate you all !“
