“My family and I have had the great pleasure of having dinner at 618 in Freehold NJ on several occasions. It has quickly become our favorite restaurant! Everything on their menu is wonderful and we’ve tried so many appetizers, main courses and cocktails at this point. It’s rare to find a cool, comfortable restaurant with so many great cocktails and incredible choices across all menu selections. And, if that is not enough, their staff is truly a dream team. The owners, manager, hostesses and servers ALL go way out of their way to make everyone feel like guests having a special dining experience in their happy home. Dining at 618 is a truly delightful experience—it’s quite simply food and service heaven! The owners and staff ALL really care and it shows. Their kindness and care to our 96 year old dad and us every time we dine there is so beautiful. It lights him and us up so much. To the owners, manager, hostesses and servers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Dear Ava, Danielle, Chuck, Matt , Chris, Jacob, Leigh, and Christine, and all the staff of 618, each and every one of you are treasures. “Well!!!! Can’t say enough GOOD things about the skillet by Sal!! I am aching to try something different because I am just loving the fratta! Brought back memories of my mom!!! Service is ?? great. “Aarzu makes some of the best Indian food in NJ (and that’s a high compliment since it competes with great spots in Edison)! The butter chicken is our personal favorite, we also love the chicken 65, bhel, and kulcha. Their raita and mango lassi is also one of my favorites to help cool things down when the heat is building. Also, the service is truly top notch and everyone is so kind and so helpful. People butcher Indian food sometimes and don’t stay true to authentic flavors; while Aarzu offers some fusion elements, its robust flavors ensure it tastes just like your desi mom’s home cooking. This is a place where other Indians (like myself) rave about which is a big deal because I wouldn’t eat at 90% of Indian places- they never satiate my cravings but Aarzu always exceeds expectations!Dietary restrictions: The staff is well versed on dietary restrictions like gluten-free.“

“Very cozy restaurant for a quiet meal. I came here a few times with my wife for lunch. We love the prix fixe option, we have been able to pretty much eat everything they have to offer for lunch. Dinner portions are bigger if you go at night. The Spanish paella and the hanger steak are my recommendations if you plan to eat here.“

“Owner should learn how to treat customers We were a party of four and we arrived on time for a 7:45 reservation. When we arrived there were many people waiting to be seated. We were told that the wait would only be 10 - 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes later we were told that the wait would be an additional 10 - 15 minutes. A half hour later my wife was told that the wait would only be another 10 - 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I requested to speak with the owner and I was told that I was speaking with the owner (at that point there was only one other group waiting to be seated). They informed me that a group of six with an 8:00 reservation was just seated. I said that it was not fair to make us wait 45 minutes since we did have a reservation and the people with a later reservation were just seated. I said that I may have something to say about it after the meal. The reply was "if you have something to say, say it now"! I replied that I would reserve my thoughts until after the meal. How insulting, imagine waiting over 45 minutes and then being told if I had anything to say I shouldn't wait till after my dinner, that I should say it now. I replied that I would wait till after the meal before I had any additional comments. With that we were refused service and we were told to leave. I am a 75 year old retired veteran and in my life I was never treated in this manner. When we grew up we had more respect for others. This is not how customers should be treated.“

Chang’s location. the restaurant is kept clean, the service is impeccable, and the food always tastes great!Today was no exception - Pat, Jack, Austin, and Shamere have a working chemistry that I have almost never witnessed.These gentlemen were all attentive to the guests, worked as almost one person (seriously that intuitive) and kept the atmosphere light and fun! “The service was incredible . We ordered the mumbai bhel which was outstandingly tasty. Paneer tikka sizzler was decent . For the entree , ordered vegetarian biryani which was very well cooked . The portions were also good for 2 people . Overall , very economical for the location. Highly recommend it“

“Our server Allie was attentive and friendly. My bf and I shared a Cesar salad. The salad was fresh, chilled and delicious. I had the special pasta dish which had freshly made pasta, shrimp, tomato's,small mozzarella balls and arugula. It was out of this world delicious! My bf had a seafood and pasta dish, delicious. Gelato dessert was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.“

“Golden Bao is always great! The food is always prepared well and quickly. I have seen them working during very busy rushes and it is incredible how many orders they accomplish at once. I have also yet to experience an order mistake and I will order once a week for me and my staff. 10 out of 10.“

“I love the wonton tomato egg drop soup. It is different and so delicious. The hot and sour soup is also a favorite. The crispy noodles with duck sauce never disappoints, and I always have to grab a bag to go. The waiter Freddy is always friendly, and I love that they can make special dishes from Chinatown that's not on the menu.“

“Decided to try this place after my go to (Eli's) sadly closed & got taken over by Bagel Nook. (Hate when instagramableness beats quality & authenticity in the business game.) Well anyway I tried this place because it was close by & seemed to be a classic deli, which I trusted for bagels. The bagels are pretty good: large, they don't skimp on the cream cheese, & they're a great price!! They also have a few pastries, sandwiches, soup, snacks, & a variety of drinks. I def want to try a sandwich from them one day. There's always customers inside & the 2 people who work the counter (I think they might be the owners?) are genuinely kind & I always see them making conversation with their patrons. Love when a business tries to build a community. There's also a cute seating area outside. The only thing is that they seem to run out of bagels quickly, even on weekdays. I've been there twice now around noon & they didn't have a regular everything bagel (which is fine I just go for a whole wheat everything) but that's something to note... Make sure you get there early, sorry to all the not morning people! I think this will be my new go-to bagel spot, even though I'll miss my Jewish bagels New York bagels will fill the whole in my heart.“

“We went for Sunday brunch. The restaurant was great, service was outstanding. After eating we walked out to the car to find a parking ticket. I didn't notice, but evidently Freehold, NJ recently started charging for parking. Every summer I spend a lot of time in the downtown freehold area. That will now change. Too many other places to go where parking is free. A warning would have been nice (for those of us that parked there for free, for years).“

“Went there for first time. They have a lot of Japanese and Chinese food options in the menu. But we had soup, sushi and noodles. All the food we ordered were really good. Even our server was very nice and friendly. Would definitely go back again there to try different items from the menu ?“

“The atmosphere in this cafe is eclectic and comforting, like going back to my childhood and visiting relatives! I was there with a group of friends, and everyone loved their sandwiches. I can say that my BLT was the best I've had in years...if not decades. It's a great place to relax over coffee after the meal, before browsing the the lovely surroundings and the crafty store (The Barn). I'm definitely going back.“

They lost a star cause there has been times that I had to return food for not being the freshest but that being said I never have a problem with them replacing my food for something fresh.“

They were delicious and the rice and beans with it made it really good. This place is cash only as well so be prepared. Service was good too. There's only a few tables inside and it's small indoors. “This place gets very crowded, very quickly. I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area, so I figured I would stop in since I was in town. They have done renovations and the restaurant looks great. The food and service is still top notch. It is a very small establishment; if you are looking for a lot of room, this is not the place for you. They have a great beer selection and different types of food, from apps to entrees and desserts. The Jester is a staple in Freehold so I recommend a visit. They also have AMI jukebox for those who love music.“

“Frankie Fed's has my favorite type of pizza with a cracker thin crust and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese and so many toppings. So many choices for a personal pie that I have to order one every time I go. It's BYOB. The house salad and house dressing is another favorite. Can't say enough about it. The last time I went I got a personal pie that was a combo eggplant and shrimp scampi that is my favorite. Maybe they'll put it on the menu.“
