“The food here is excellent! I love when a chef has seasonal menus. We arrived the first night of their ‘Spring menu” and it was amazing. I had the crab cake appetizer and the scallops for my entree. The favorite thing I tried all night was the fried artichoke and calamari dish - omg a must try! My aunt had the cod for her entree which she loved. The portions are on the bigger side. The hostess, the staff, and Chef were all so friendly and welcoming!“

“Bobby Wongs is a welcome addition to the Hawthorne food scene. With a great niche- this soulfully Asian spot is a go to for real and quality stuff! Having them downtown is dangerous only bc I live so close! The chicken original with wok’d rice is a perfect balance of heat and savory. The beef buns ( really all the buns) are a can’t miss- any specials they have are definitely worth a try!“

“My wife and I stopped by today for lunch. I got a hamburger, onion rings, and a strawberry shake. My wife got a cheeseburger, sweet potato waffle fries, and a vanilla shake. All the food was really good and so were the shakes. All the workers were very nice. We will definitely be going back.“

“Stopped by for lunch and had a few dogs all the way. Real good chili sauce. A cheese burger and cheese fries. The cheese fries took way longer than they should have ...a bit chaotic at lunch. My co worker ordered 2 beef empanadas and got cheese. No bueno! Fun place with usually good service and food. Worth checking out. Just don't go at 12 on a Friday...... “To start, the food is absolutely delicious here. The unique Korean/French fusion had some interesting and tasty options. Will definitely go back to order things I didnt get to try. Unfortunately, it was evident that they were understaffed (maybe it was just this one night? Things happen). The person who sat us was also the server, food runner, and busser; with all these responsibilities, it was impossible to be as attentive as I know they could have been because they were very sweet and polite. Despite the service, I would still recommend coming here because the quality of food is outstanding.“

“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“

“I was once, several years ago (& prepandemic) down in Florida somewhere, at a Seasons 52 for dinner with friends we were visiting. I remember way back then, being impressed with seasonal vegetables, reasonably priced and reasonably sized portions. My lunch in NJ with two friends was just as good! Apparently the menu changes seasonally, hence the name. One friend had the caprese sandwich, the other had the crabcake sandwich, and I had the chicken and farro salad. All 3 were beautifully presented, well prepared, and tasty. Mine was a variety of greens, a small scoop of perfectly cooked farro, watermelon radish slices, very pretty and delicious. Normally we wouldn't have had dessert, but my friends asked our kind server, Cartier, for the dessert array. I thought it was an odd way to ask for a dessert menu...but in a few minutes, he returned with a spiral rack that held several small dishes. He described each one lovingly, but started by telling us that those weren't real, so he could touch them to demonstrate what was in each one. Three of us ordered, each a different kind! My friend told Cartier that he gave the best presentation of any time they'd been there! So I rarely take food photos in restaurants but I had to take our 3 mini desserts! And I would come here again.“

We arrived at around noon and may have been the first people to show up for the day. Given how quiet the restaurant was, we didn't want to get our hopes up but BOY did this place deliver. As soon as we took our first bite of the complementary (and addicting) warm black bean dip with fresh, salty tortillas we knew we were in for a treat! I ordered the burrito which was loaded with the most flavorful and perfectly cooked chicken. My fiancee ordered tacos (4 per order) - 2 fish and 2 barbacoa. The tacos and salsas were super fresh and tasty. I love that they didn't try to overcomplicate anything - just extremely delicious food without the need for gastronomics and extra flair. Even though this is about a 25 minute drive from us, I definitely think we'll be making another trip back!“

“Step into déjà vu restaurant in Garfield New Jersey and enjoy the allure of Balkan food. I started off with some great appetizers and I highly recommend the melted cheese dip. I really enjoyed the chicken rolls wrapped in bacon and stuff with provolone cheese. Don’t skip out on dessert, then Nutella and banana crêpes are homemade and a must try. I also enjoyed a very delicious strawberry margarita. The staff was very attentive, and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The spot is great for a girls night out, date night, a family dinner. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Robert personally attends to his guests to ensure everything is going well. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw.Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“

And for a price point under $30 is one of the best bargains you can find! Flavor was amazing and cooked expertly!We finished with coffee and the Chocolate Mousse Cake & Cheesecake. “Bendix diner is like stepping back into time. It's nice to see an old school diner like this. Don't let it's facade fool you into thinking that the food is greasy or average. Quite the contrary, the quality of food is very good, the portions are of good size and the prices are reasonable. There are artisan hot sauces on each table and counter, the syrup is maple syrup only but with cool flavors like Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, habanero and others. Also the tea, they use premium tea leaves. All of that struck me as odd in a good way. The owner John and his son Michael are wonderful. They are attentive and provide good service. Their food is excellent. I had a turkey club there that rivaled 4 star hotel restaurants. It's truly a hidden gem“

“We got the nachos and it was amazing one of the best nachos I’ve ever had it had soooooo much of the good stuff on it and it was packed with the good stuff and layered perfectly not like most places where the top of the chips have everything and then your just left with chips no it had all the good stuff on every chip it was amazing!!!!
