“We had our son's birthday catered by them and it was great. Very affordable. We spent the same we would have had we done all of the cooking ourselves. The guests loved it. More than enough food, with drinks and churros included. Huge spread. Very professionally handled and will definitely do again. So much easier and El Gallo has great mexican food.“

I ordered the" crispy chicken with broccoli rabe and provolone". It came with 2 huge freshly cooked to order cutlets on a small with freshly cooked rabe!! Huge sandwich for 10 and change. Super crispy moist cutlets on a fresh roll. I also had a side of homemade Mac salad which was delicious. This place makes a mean sandwich for sure. I must say that this place exceeded my expectations.FRIED CALAMARI was amazing and IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN was super crunchy and tasty. “One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“My wife and I have been looking for a place to enjoy some Mediterranean staples, and we’re so glad we found Kilim. Firstly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, wherein you can feel the passion and love the owner has for their space. The food was beyond delicious. Highly recommend the babaganus, I could have ate buckets of it if given the opportunity. Everything tasted fresh and was so flavorful from the bread service to the dessert. And lastly, the service was impeccable. The restaurant was very busy, and the waitstaff made us feel like we were their main priority from the moment we walked in. Truly a hidden gem tucked away in an unassuming location, we cannot recommend Kilim enough.“

“loved this place! I was in Montclair for a visit and looked for a vegan place. This was well reviewed so decided to go - the food and the people are amazing! I came back two days later and had again the power bowl and strawberry banana smoothie - I would take this restaurant back home with me.“
