A couple of the nights specials including the minon tips over butternut squash risotto, Port brasoule over gnoche and the veal parm followed by the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and finally canolies.... “One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. Everything was amazing. The pizza was like being back in Italy. We also got the nutella desert which should be illegal. Cannot wait to try our way through the menus. So happy to have this wonderful spot in the neighborhood.“

“Went in couple times. First time was better the second time it was so busy and it took forever to get food. Seemed like they were confused with few orders. Eventually things worked out and I got my meatball sub. The mozzarella is delicious.“

“In town for a Driscoll Food Show. As restaurant owners ourselves we take notice of so many attributes. The ambiance, attention to detail, service and especially the food. Our meals were absolutely delicious. I had the Butternut Squash Soup and King Salmon with Beurre Blanc with Sundried Tomatoes and my husband had the Scallops with Angel Hair. Nice experience and highly recommend!“

“I was there recently for a wedding and was very happy with how expedient the ceremony was and how the servers came around during the cocktail hour.The bartenders were quick with getting drinks out and made great cocktails. Excellent pours and tasting with their vodka martinis!Get the lamb chops! I say again, get the lamb chops!The dinner options were better than most wedding venues. My beef cut was a little overcooked, but still had good flavors.“

“Goodfellas restaurant is an awesome experience. The atmosphere is a Goodfellas theme, with a touch of Italian romance. The ambiance of calm, Soft lights, music (live), attentive and courteous staff, delicious food, and at a reasonable price. Free valet parking, and although the place was packed you could communicate easily with each other and staff. I haven’t experienced such a classy place like Goodfellas in a long while. They will be seeing me and mine again. 5+ stars…“

“Ok. I found a place that makes broccoli rabe like I do. That's rare.I've tried 3 different things so far and all were amazing. My new go to.Parking: We went about 11:30 in the morning and there was plenty of parking on the street. We got in we got out.“

A very special thanks to Briana who went above and beyond for our crew of eleven. Not only was the service impeccable, but she gave us a Veteran discount and brought us an additional order of some mighty good Cannoli!! For the most reasonably priced Italian restaurant we've been to , I highly recommend Due Fratelli. We only had one appetizer which was the Fried Calamari which was excellent. For our entree we had : Italian Wrap , Eggplant Parmigiana, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Veal Piccata, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Salvational, Chicken Mediterranean, Chicken Scarpariello . Cappuccino followed with Cannoli, Cheesecake, and a Pistachio Cake that was off the charts !“

I come with my hubby and daughter and most recently with some of my betsies..I love their menu is small but super delicious. Their appetizers are amazing ? the little bruschetta at the beginning is so yummy and you kind of build it yourself. The flavors are super clean and sauces are light and full of flavors. Sometimes food is drenched in so much sauce that it loses its unique flavor but not here. Every dish is a perfect harmonious bite. It is BYOB which is a plus. Keep up with the nice clean flavors! “In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. Thank you so much.“

“The three of us went for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly. The place was about 40% full. We ordered food and then the lunch crowd arrived. Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

“Translated from the Italian literally “to the tooth," it describes pasta that is cooked to be firm to the bite. Located at the Marketplace of Elmwood Park strip mall off of Market Street, my partner and I made a return trip after two years to Al Dente for an early dinner tonight. Reservations were easily made by calling the establishment at the spur of the moment. Greeted by the staff upon entering, the patrons seemed to be enjoying their dinners and were seated promptly by the window. The menu featured typical Italian cuisine with appetizers, salads, pastas, chicken, fish, and veal dishes, as well as a special menu. We decided on their specials and got their homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli with blackened julienne chicken in Alfredo sauce and homemade fettuccine with chopped shrimp and sweet Italian sausage in a vodka pink sauce with shaved provolone. Our meal came with a side salad. Complimentary warm bread accompanied by butter started our meal. Food was always made with fresh ingredients, just the right amount of spice, and unbelievably delicious. Portions were just right. They offer a dessert, but we had no room to even try to have any. The service was excellent and accommodating, and the whole wait staff worked in tandem with each other. The price is comparable to the area, and BYOB adds to the value of the dinner. We continue to recommend it to anyone who either loves genuine Italian food or actually knows what genuine Italian food is supposed to be.“

“It was our first time at Spiga. We had a wonderful experience from the beginning to end. We were greeted by Alexa, she was sweet and very welcoming. Luis, our waiter was the best, took very good care of us, warm and friendly. Frank, the new owner, walked around talking to all his guests and checking to see if everyone was happy. “If fresh authentic homemade pasta is what you crave, this is the place to go. Food is delicious and of high quality. You can taste that everything is authenticly Italian homemade with love and care. It's a limited menu but that is how they can put out such high quality. Prices are not cheap but worth it for the quality and execution. “I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the food was! I live in the city and was visiting a friend in West Orange and we decided to come try Gioia Mia, which came under new management and owner a year ago apparently. Let me tell you, the food was out of this world! I don’t think I had a better dinner in my whole entire life. They are BYOB, which I didn’t know, but they have a liquor store down the street that delivered my wine in less than 5 minutes of calling it in!!!The dinner starts with a homemade focaccia that was amazing. We also decided to step out of our shells and ordered the chicken liver mousse. When I tell you my friend would never even think about eating liver, she absolutely loved it!!! It was such a perfect pair with the strawberry rhubarb! The asparagus tabbouleh salad is also something I would have never thought would be in the same dish, and it was delicious! The scallop tiradito - oh my god. The flavors in that was perfection!!!! We then had agnolotti, malfadine, and cavatelli. The cavatelli and malfadine were on point!!! Agnolotti was also very good but out of the 3, it was my least favorite comparing how flavorful everything else was. And to end, we had a hanger steak and the pan seared scallops. The scallops were amazing!!!! And the steak was literally cooked soooooo well and how it was coated in au poivre couldn’t be more perfect.What a culinary dining experience this was. Can’t wait to come back again!!!!“

“Can't speak highly enough about the level of service and the professionalism of the staff. The food of course was so amazing, my party and I got the tuna tartare, the prawn salad, the ragu, the scallops, and other entrees and it was all amazing. It was a tiny bit loud but we were right under the speakers. But everything else was so good I didn't even mind. They even brought out a cake for my birthday. I'm 1000% going back. The manager even mentioned a lady's night on Thursday so I'll have to check that out :) 10/10“

“Hi, just wanted to say. How great this place is. I ordered on Satuday. They forgot to add my 2 chicken empanadas to my pick up oder. I called and left a message but they were closed. I called on Monday spoke to Stepanie and she was very apologetic. She suggested i pick them up. Which I did. Long story short. They replaced it with 4 empanadas. Great customer service. Empanadas are delicious. Recommend highly..Many blessings for their business.. Will order again...“
