Elena helped me organize the 15 person event by reserving space at the front of the restaurant/bar for our group and they offered appetizers to our group, while we ordered dinner and drinks. Thin chicken cutlets that are pan fried and crispy with the perfect amount of cheese melted on top. The sauce was great and the garlic bread was like nothing I’ve ever had before but it was very good. The best part was they delivered it to an address I’m parked at for the night with my tractor trailer.“

“This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

“Just had a great meal at Country Cottage. Steamed clams were done to perfection with a broth that begged to be eaten with the fresh crusty bread brought to our table. The lamb chops came out medium rare as requested and the eggplant rollatini was served on a bed of fresh spinach with mushrooms and garlic since I had opted not to have pasta. Our waitress was very attentive and provided great service. I was concerned about noise level since the bar had been expanded but it was not an issue at all. My husband and I were able to enjoy our dinners and conversation.“

They enjoyed their fish and chips and chicken nuggets. I tried it as well and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owner improvised kiddie cups for our toddlers' apple juice (and I'm grateful that they offered apple juice in the first place). I was craving a Nashville style fried chicken sandwich and described my craving to the owner. He improvised a delicious spicy dry rubbed fried chicken sandwich which satisfied my craving and more. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken and sliced lean brisket. The chicken was very tender and delicious. The brisket was lean and tender. My husband also ordered three diet cokes and they were brought out one at a time with perfect timing to ensure that he had cold drinks to wash down the food. The sides were all great too, highly recommend the mac and cheese and buttered corn. Overall, our lunch visit was a total hit and we will definitely return when we're in the area next. “Drove by and decided to stop and get a Cuban sandwich for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered and walked out with my order within 10-15 minutes, so service was quick and everyone I interacted with was very nice. It also came with fries which were crispy even after bringing them home in the takeout box. Will be a new go to spot for me when craving a cuban sandwich.“

“After a long overnight shift at the hospital I stopped in the nearest breakfast spot on google. I like to support small owned businesses because usually you receive good quality service and that’s what I encountered when coming in this morning. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a roll and a coffee. The sandwich was delicious, and the coffee was just that. Coffee. If you’re in a rush first thing in the morning be sure to give yourself time because they take they’re time to prep the food but in a good way overall I was satisfied and will be back again.“

“Located at an intersection between Goffle Road and Wagaraw Road, forming a triangle, my partner and I had lunch at the Hawthorne Diner as first-timers. Upon entering, the interior was small and simple, but it had plenty of booths as well as a bar and was clean. There were a few tables in the back where we sat promptly. Their menu had everything one wanted or needed at a typical Jersey diner. There were plenty of breakfast choices, as well as wraps, sandwiches, and dinner options. We decided on something light and went for the broccoli cheddar potato skins and 1/2 tuna fish sandwich combo with salad. Good food is served in a timely fashion and at a decent price. Our server was friendly and attentive. We can recommend this place.“

My experience about food at this place, nothing special just simple normal food, I have places before I went too and it was sad to call it food but I don’t go to those places and at same place when they bring me food as soon as I saw my order I would say Nop I will pass once plate is in front of me same moment not after half is gone if that’s not what I ordered . Those of you who complain food is cold or steak is WD instead of MD ….. For the price that you pay same steak or what ever other food ordered how can you expect to be perfect or wow or from Manager to make miracle after that same food in your plate what ever complain is about, more than half of the food is gone / done / eaten by the same person which is complaining how food is bad .So food is bad but wait let me eat half of it and then complain how bad it is - If food is bad you can see on first bite or just by looking at it there is no need to finish half of it and cry after, simple bad food return the plate untouched with explanation also simple - not what I ordered sorry I will pass on it . “This place is really good. I got the big Mac quesadilla and the Cuban panini. The quesadilla is exactly how it sounds and came out great. The Cuban panini has soft, quality bread. You can tell the pork is made in house and it came with fries.All that and a coke was only $25. Ordering food out is so expensive now and this place is an absolute bargain. They have a ton of options and seem like a nice local mom and pop shop.“

And btw it's not a Texas thing; it's a New Jersey thing...by way of Greece. Some people love it; others like my husband didn't care for the chili or the flavor of the dog. It's one of those things, IYKYK I guess. I for one did enjoy my weiner.
