The staff person working when we arrived for pickup was also very nice and friendly which was refreshing these days! We will certainly be back to try more things from the menu.“

“Amazing Turkish restaurant. BYOB. They treat you like family here. The hummus and ezme were amazing mezze options. The branzino was was charred perfectly, retaining the perfect flakiness and moistness of the fish fillet. Cap it off with baklava and Turkish coffee. They won’t rush you here. Life slows down at this restaurant so you can enjoy it.Parking: Cheap municipal parking. $.50 per hour“

“I tried EFI’s today from just passing by without looking at any reviews/ knowledge about the place i was PLEASANTLY surprised on the food! I got 2 lamb gyros and spanakopita to go. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“

“As always, Varka impressed. The menu airs on the expensive side, but it's worth it for the fresh fish and quality of the food and service. We celebrated my husband's birthday tonight. We were seated promptly, quickly asked which type of water we would like and the sever was over within minutes for our cocktail order. We had some west coast oysters and a Greek meatball appetizer, which were properly spaced, followed by two fish entrees - it's a smooth operation here. The almond cake for dessert was also lovely. Overall, delicious food and a great date night that wasn't rushed and much appreciated.“

“It is probably the Best Greek restaurant in the whole Bergen County. I was impressed with the layout, the waiters were very helpful, and gave us the best advice, even for the pickiest of us. After the Greek salad, crisp zucchini, and grilled calamari, the Pastitsio, Moussaka, and seafood Giouvetsi all cooked in clay pots filled us up, but then the lamb chops with lemon potatoes arrived, and nobody could resist them. For dessert we had a platter of galaktobureko"milkpie" and one called ekmek, that we could not decide which was the best. We will definitely come back, but we better fast in advance.“

“The gyro had very little Taziki sauce and was a bit dry, I asked for a little more of the taziki and was charged $2. When I asked the lady who takes payment that inasked for it due to the gyro not having much in it she just said sorry. Food is always good but was taken back by the charge.“
