“The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh salad, beans and squash make my mouth water just thinking about it. And the blue corn enchiladas were the best. I had the bread pudding for dessert, and it is to die for. Everyone, from the greater, to Mark my waiter, to the manager went out of their way to make me feel cared for and make my lunch experience great. I can't wait until my next visit.“

“Stopped in for lunch while enjoying a day at the Biopark. Great selection of New Mexican eats with attentive staff in a smaller dining area. We didn’t receive one of the items we ordered, but the removed it without an issue as we were very full for the entrees and flan. The birria tacos were so crispy. Probably our best New Mexican food all week.“

“Fantastic local place with really great food. They make their red and green sauces in house. I love that they’re flavorful not just obnoxious spice. They really add to the dishes. Had the adovado empanada and the table shared the chicharrón. Empanada was delicious with flavorful meat that was tender and moist. Chicharrón were more like crispy pork belly but still delicious. Could tell it was a popular local place as it was steadily busy and lots of pick up orders. Would recommend it.“

“This new Stripes location is really well put together. The staff are all very friendly and my food has come out very fast both times I have been. I don’t think that Stripes has a great burrito compared to other choices in the city but it’s good and fairly priced. The eggs they use remind me of the ones in Taco Bell breakfast and the green chile is so-so. Overall, would recommend.“

He said the avovado was the best enchilada he ever had.“

“I think what makes this place so great are the people who work here. It's genuinely warm people and that really makes or breaks an experience for me. We are visiting NM and came here for brunch. The server recommended the Indian Taco with green Chile and it did not disappoint. I've never had one before but it hit the spot for a savory meal which is my jam. Casual vibes for sure and lots history on the walls. We enjoyed our time here and were all so stuffed but hopefully we can make it back one more time before we head back to California!“

“I arrived at the hotel late and quickly headed to the bar/restaurant as I was starving. They were closing in less than an hour, but service was friendly and quick. A few in our party ordered the creamy green chile soup and I ordered the quesadillas. It was a very generous portion of each dish and we all left very full and happy. Prices were very decent as well, I would recommend for anyone staying at the hotel to give this a try!“

“I just Love their Green Chile!!! ?? I had a chicharrone so papilla with beans, smothered with Green Chile, So Delicious!!! My nephew had the ground beef Christmas so papilla. I wouldn't recommend the red Chile though, unless you like sweet. He also had a Chile relleno, looked very good!!! Service was Great!!! ?? The young gentleman was very attentive!! “So here's the thing. El Patio Rio was honestly super delicious, my partner, my son and I all enjoyed our food. We were in a pretty large group and the service was great and we loved the outdoor seating. I got the soap stuffed with carne adobada and the red chili was so delicious and on point. However, I do have to deduct some points from the food because while it was delicious, I did get food poisoning from it. Such a bummer! I suspect it was a freak accident of some kind, but maybe avoid the carne adobada and get the chile rellenos--my husband got that and it was delicious and didn't cause any issues.Also, as far as appetizers go, I would recommend the guacamole but maybe not the queso if you are from Texas, haha. New Mexican style queso just doesn't live up to the Texan queso hype, so just order the guacamole and you will be a happy camper :)Kid-friendliness: The outdoor seating is great for kiddos, and my child was enthralled by the guitar player in the corner. He also enjoyed all his food, so generally it was a good experience there.“

“It happens EVERY time. I call in my order at Stripes, I pay and then experience a heavenly burrito that's perfect every time. You know what the beauty is...they actually fill the burrito with egg to make you FULL and content. They don't fill the burrito with "potatoes" (Blakes) and raise the price or give you 1/2 the burrito and charge you more (Carl's Jr.), STRIPES burritos are FULL, FILLING and FAIRLY priced. I love them and will be the only place I get my breakfast burritos. One more thing, their chicken sandwich is AMAZING. And one more thing. Stripes employees are ALWAYS very professional, courteous and happy to help you. I love them.“

“Hmm what...So I am excited to meet up with my daughter and her boy in ABQ for the day. I haven't seen her in a month or so and I have not met him yet. A Frind of mine gives me a recommendation of this place as an option for dinner.We spend a great day touring ABQ and then head over for dinner. We walk up to a small entrance with two different 80 year old couples walking in, in front of us and another 70 year old couple walking in behind us. The from entrance has four tables that look to be abandoned for awhile. My first thought is "this might not be for us.. what was my guy thinking.. im not that old..."We walk In to find a front counter with Cafe pastries behind glass and the smell of coffee in the air. Four more side tables off to the left through a small doorway. My second thought... "oh no.. this cant be right"The hottest asks us if we want to sit inside or outside. Not wanting to sit in the baren front entrance I say inside. Then the craziest thing happensWe are walked through the small left door way past the 4 side tables. Into a hallway with another 10 tables, half of which are full of people. Then past those tables into a huge room with 20 more tables... seriously spanish decor.. a mariachi band playing by tables... huge glass windows showing a beautiful decorated and landscaped outside seating area.. wow.. the boy and I were both like "what just happened..." did we go through a portal..The food is magnificent and the staff was super friendly, courteous and attentive.If you want to be amazed.. swing in you will be impressed. This place has wow factor and the taste of the food matches the ambiance . Perfect :)“
