“Prison city is always enjoyable. The beer is great and the food always impresses. If you like pork, I suggest trying the brussel sprouts. These photos are from their winter noodle ”
“Great service and ambiance which they were open every day during week but hey they need a break huge menu and huge portions for left overs. The frozen takeout in the back is also my go to frozen meals!!”
“Tried this restaurant for the first time. Enjoyed the meal, which was cooked to perfection. Wait staff extremely friendly and good at their job. Also the staff were helping each other, which was nice to see. Definitely will go back.”
“Moro's Table is a regular on our dining rotation, but may get slotted more frequently after trying the week's special "polpo". The octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked to a sublime tenderness, grilled, and served with asiago potato slices and an ancho-guajillo sauce. It brought us back a few nights later for a second go-around, and our guests, new to octopus, raved as well. Dinner on our first visit include seared scallops, perfectly cooked and plump and flavorful, and on our second visit pan-seared sablefish and a medium-rare ribeye. Chef Ryan is doing a wonderful job in the kitchen, and all of our menu items and specials have been delicious. We were fortunate to have Josh as our server, and our bartender. The Sidecars were delicious, and his dinner suggestions a hit.If you've never tried grilled octopus, this is the place to try it. We're hoping it finds its way onto the regular menu. Their legendary braised beef short ribs are an easy "go to", but the specials are at least as compelling.”
“I experienced the lavishness of the lounge :) at a catered event for NYS Equal Justice Center. Amazing cuisine. Red beans and rice, cabbage, curry chicken, plantains, meatballs, all excellently prepared. Everything was super good.”
“I went to the Fire and Ice Brew Festival and had a great time. Papa Muse was playing live music, and the place was packed with people who were dressed to the nines. The food and drink selection was amazing. I would definitely recommend this festival and would be happy to go again.”
“Balloons is the real deal. They come to their ambiance and reputation honestly - built over decades. The food is always excellent and well prepared. The service is always friendly and attentive. Great for steak lovers but don't sleep on the rest of the menu including their traditional Italian specialties. If you get stumped by the expansive menu, just order the Rattlesnake Pasta. If it's your first time at Balloons don't let the neighborhood or well-worn rooms dissuade you. Have a seat, order a Manhattan and some Utica Greens and revel in what every restaurant should be - local, legitimate and lovely.”
“I've been in Auburn many times on business and this is my favorite restaurant in town; I've eaten just about everywhere. The food tastes freshly made and is very good. The staff is very professional and nice. This should be a first choice for people visiting or living in the area.”
“You must visit this pure gem of a lounge. Bands are fantastic, easy crowd to mingle with and be comfortable around and Lynn is the absolute best bartender/ owner I have had the pleasure to meet in all my years being in the restaurant business myself. Truly an enjoyable evening out and I look forward to many more!!”
“We loved the charm, atmosphere and hospitality at the Springside Inn. We particularly appreciated the time that Sean took to share the background to the Inn, the local attractions, and his recommendations for other area sites to visit - which we did (nearby Aurora).Rooms: Spacious, well-furnished and appointed.Nearby activities: Wine toursHistoric downtownHarbour and Finger LakesNearby historic towns”
“Absolutely fantastic pulled pork!! It's the real deal, smoked and delicious! Not some quick cooked sauced up stuff. It will leave your mouth just happy! I'm so disappointed I didn't try this place sooner! The Mac n Cheese goes great with the pulled pork, too!! I can't wait to try everything they make in the future!Update! 5/20/23I've now had the pork tacos!! OMG!! Do it!! Just do it! They were completely worth the stains on one of my favorite shirts!!”
“We could not have been happier with our stay at Springside Inn. Comfort, ambiance, amenities, staff…it’s a beautiful place. We met Sean, the owner, who is quite nice. I’m glad we made this choice and certainly will again.”
“Best sheet pizza you can’t get by far. If you’re looking for good customer service and a clean environment this is not the place BUT if you want the best SHEET pizza with extra cheese this is the place to go.”
“The food was fantastic, compliments to the chef, the service was excellent, the server attentive, the atmosphere was calm and peaceful.Dietary restrictions: Menu can be adjusted reasonably.Parking: Connected to hotel. May vary depending on hotel occupancy. 6”
“Love it. One of Auburn's best. My fav. They cut back the menu some, but as always awsome meal. Friendly staff. Seems as ut an extra waitress would have helped, ours worked her butt off. Thank you for keeping something in Auburn quality.”
“Best food, best customer service, best takeout option. Dining in is usually a longer wait. But takeout is 10/10, been coming here for three years regularly.Vegetarian options: Almost anything here can be made vegan/vegetarian.”
“The Peachy Keen Kolsch was delicious, but I was disappointed by the IPAs as they were just ok (I prefer juicy/hazy). The wood-fired pizza was on-point! We had the chorizo and pepperoni/sausage pizzas and they were fantastic!”
“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“Pretty, simple and early American style farmhouse overlooking the tranquil fields between Auburn and Skaneatales serves sophisticated, new American cuisine with the freshest ingredients. (The family's farm stand opens nearby in summer so they know fresh ... ) We loved our delicately spiced duck and crab-stuffed haddock dishes with perfectly cooked asparagus! Had a yummy house made pizza with artichoke hearts to start. Our wait person recommended the Thirsty Owl Riesling to pair with them, great choice. Desserts sounded amazing but we could not eat any more!!”
