“Just have to say, our experience here was amazing! The owners and staff were so nice and so real! We talked with the owners for a while and it was a great experience! The sour ale was by far the best sour ale I have had! We have been to over 200 breweries so I hope that says something! We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great brewery experience!”

“Excellent Winery located in Skaneatlus NY. We visited twice while we were visiting the village of Dickens festival. We bought 4 bottles of wine. 2 reds 2 white. Red: cabaret franc and White: avail. I highly reccomed both. Tasting was both knowledgeable and fun! Thank you. Second time we came to visited we enjoyed sipping on wine and listening to the live music. We definitely will return to Anyelas Vineyards again next time we are in Skaneatlus.”

“There should be a sidewalk or something for guests to walk from the too small parking lot. Brunch was absolutely wonderful, except the waiter should've ask permission to cut the bone from my leftover pork chop. He said they didn't have boxes big enough for the long bone. Idea! Wrap the chop in foil or get bigger boxes! Please tell me where I can buy pork chops like the one I had May 13. Thanks”

“Great location on the shore of Lake Skaneatales. Okay bar food like mahi mahi tacos, burgers, and big "booze brunch" menu make it very busy on weekends. Book ahead for water view table.”

“I don’t even like pie- BUT heart n hand pies are NEXT LEVEL!! Amazing crust, amazing filling. I dream of them. We live 4 hours away but anytime we have the opportunity to visit family there or they come down this is what we ask for. Heart N Hand is a treasure and I hope they continue to do it right for generations to come!”

“Comfortable restaurant with enclosed porch seating overlooking Skaneatales Lake. It's part of a very charming inn dating back to the early 1800s so waiting for a table in the cozy bar or by the lobby's roaring fireplace is a pleasure. The Sherwood Inn Favorites part of the menu is the most unusual, with old-fashioned dishes like a Yankee Pot Roast and roast chicken. Lots of mashed potatoes or Tavern Rice to accompany all entrees! We enjoyed the grilled duck breast and a roast beet salad which is suited to lighter appetites. Older crowd with lots of locals and more casual vibe in the bar. Delicious berry cobbler dessert.”
