“We had my SIL’s baby shower at The Sunset and it was absolutely perfect!! The staff are great at communicating prior to the event and very helpful during set up/clean up. The food (brunch) was very delicious. The venue is spacious and very clean. I recommend this venue to anyone in need of a space to host a birthday, shower, or special occasion!“

“Pretty, simple and early American style farmhouse overlooking the tranquil fields between Auburn and Skaneatales serves sophisticated, new American cuisine with the freshest ingredients. (The family's farm stand opens nearby in summer so they know fresh ... ) We loved our delicately spiced duck and crab-stuffed haddock dishes with perfectly cooked asparagus! Had a yummy house made pizza with artichoke hearts to start. Our wait person recommended the Thirsty Owl Riesling to pair with them, great choice. Desserts sounded amazing but we could not eat any more!!“

“Moro's Table is a regular on our dining rotation, but may get slotted more frequently after trying the week's special "polpo". The octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked to a sublime tenderness, grilled, and served with asiago potato slices and an ancho-guajillo sauce. It brought us back a few nights later for a second go-around, and our guests, new to octopus, raved as well. Dinner on our first visit include seared scallops, perfectly cooked and plump and flavorful, and on our second visit pan-seared sablefish and a medium-rare ribeye. Chef Ryan is doing a wonderful job in the kitchen, and all of our menu items and specials have been delicious. We were fortunate to have Josh as our server, and our bartender. The Sidecars were delicious, and his dinner suggestions a hit.If you've never tried grilled octopus, this is the place to try it. We're hoping it finds its way onto the regular menu. Their legendary braised beef short ribs are an easy "go to", but the specials are at least as compelling.“
