“Delicious. Very busy. Crowded at lunchtime. The seating feels odd somehow. Plan to take it out if you can. I have Stayed in before, but I felt very exposed to all the other patrons over my foodIf you like spicy you can not go wrong with most of the food.“

“Authentic and very underpriced food. No compromise on food taste. This place is a cultural Mecca. People might find service and atmosphere unusual than typical american but they have to understand this place has its own character as american fast food and michelin star restaurant does.“

“Given the portion size, I thought we would have leftovers. After the first bite, I knew that we would not.The fresh-baked naan and delicious curry alone make up for the lack of ambience. The setup is simple: a few tables inside where you can sit after ordering from a counter and selecting from premade dishes. While it’s not the setting for a fancy dinner, it’s perfect for a satisfying, affordable meal or quick takeout.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian curries: palak, dal, roasted vegetables, etc“

“Not as rich or good as punjabi deli but it might be healthier. Orange and yellow dessert pieces were great. $14 total. The owner was very pleasant and let me bring in a Citi bike when it was empty to eat. Nice and cool window to look out of“

“It was nice to find a Halal place where I could sit down and eat. My only takeback was that I was hoping to find the usual chicken over rice or chicken Gyro, but they serve chicken, biryani, and other Indian base Halal foods. That was not an issue as what I ordered tasted very good. I had grilled chicken over salad and my friend had chicken tacos. There was a variety of food choices, so you will definitely find what you like and the food is tasty.“

“Definitely in my top 5 restaurants in NYC. They never fail to serve out amazing food that is fresh, colorful for the palate and the eyes, and it’s nice to be remembered whenever I visit. Especially in a metropolis like NYC. Hands down one of the best restaurants in NYC. A must try.“

“Food is good here, from an individual with Indian origins and Parsi roots from my father side, you must come here to this Pakistani spot. The food is delicious for late-night commuters, biryani is amazing, and the chicken tikka masala portions are very good. The people trashing this place are just annoyed that they are serving good food around the clock as well as chai.If this is your first time trying punjabi kare masala chai, ask them if you may sample it. The man at the front is very nice.Jai shree rama!“

Halal 2 Go Cart Indian • $

“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“
