Pretzels in New York, NY

“Came with friends and the fast flickering light was bothering my epilepsy so I asked my waitress Aleksandra if I could sit outside. She was wonderful bringing me beers and serving both friends inside and me outside. She went above and beyond. Great service. Great beer. Loved the atmosphere (sad I couldn’t handle the lights). The outdoor tent was great for people watching. Just a lovely experience all around.“

“Awesome craft beer option in the Harlem area and black woman owned business! We ordered a Ramstein Oktoberfest Marzen Lager and a Double IPA that were both solid. They have local and mostly small business owned options for many different styles, from different breweries/distributors. Service was friendly and helpful. It's clearly a more local place, but as beer travelers we couldn't miss checking this place out and were welcomed warmly. I think pricing is a par for the quality of options available compared to going to any old bar for any old beers. There was a book club finishing up in the smaller outside covered patio(has large steps down), I can't think of a better place to do an activity like that! They are a gorgeous art piece in the back with their name in street art style. We didn't have anything, but they have a food menu and the kitchen is open until about 9pm. There is plenty of bar seating and barrels with chairs accompanying them inside. It's a more cozy, chill, vertical space so not particularly good for large groups. There are clean bathrooms! No reservations needed.“

“Billy is a wonderful man with incredible warmth. If anyone wants to try hot dogs in NY, this is the only place! ??It has the best additions - if you want 'cucumbers', he will know what I mean. :)On top of all this, we got a drink from him for free.“

“Interesting place. Ticket system is a bit odd. If they want to go cashless there are other ways to do that. Not loving an additional long line... Beer was ok. Nothing to get crazy for and nothing to spit out in disgust. Just regular old beer. Hefeweizen, pale ale and lager for us. Food was good as well. Mustard was oddly very good. We had the platter and the wurst and pretzel were the best part. Service was good all around. I would return for ambiance on a nice enough day.“
