“Absolutely shred through their house salad every time I order it off ubereats. They changed the sauce from their in house sauce to a prepackaged balsamic vinegar sauce and the taste is fine but i looooved the previous sauce. If you are the owner and read this, please change it back T-“

“A short day and a half stay in Williamsburg/Brooklyn on the way to Berlin. Rolo’s was certainly my most anticipated spot on this tour after seeing their fantastic Eater video and it certainly didn’t disappoint.Their Double Cheeseburger with the $3 Bacon Addition was the most flavorful and wonderfully textured burger I’ve had in years. The pickled pepper made for an interesting off-beat accompaniment. The polenta bread was simple but delicious. A layer of polenta with olive oil and sea salt, could eat that all day.I also ordered a Strawberry Passionfruit Punsch, which was served in a small goblet. Nice blend of rum, strawberry cordial, passion fruit and lime tiki bitters. There are quite a few more dishes I’d like to try at Rolo’s. Unfortunately for me, Rolo’s in in a different time zone. But I’m glad I got a chance to try it.“

“We started off with some tasty cocktails: A Japanese twist on a margarita and an amazing whiskey-based pink one (the name escapes me but it was truly unique and delicious. We had their rendition of a Caeser salad, which was enormous. The deep fried burrata was also quite big… and truly unique and scrumptious. I could have drank the cheesy broth all night. The fried hen was nice. The black cod was as well. The sticky pudding with lime ice cream dessert was massive, but the two of us managed. Also - get the potatoes…. A great compliment to everything.“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“We ordered a variety of items and everything was amazing! Must get the bread and sauces! Broccoli rabe, chicken, and scallops were all fantastic! They were also very accommodating with seating. We did not have a reservation and they were able to fit us in. Great lounge area for drinks while you wait for your table.“

“Food and drinks were amazing. Only complaint is waited too long, over 30 min, for our food. Watched as people who sat after us finished their food and left.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Had a good brunch experience at Clinton, but it was not as hype-worthy as the videos I had seen on Tik Tok. The blueberry pancakes with mapple butter were delicious but I prefer Salt Cure’s. We also ordered the breakfast with poached eggs which was also good. The service and ambiance was good, although its always very busy. Definetly make a reservation if you are hoping to come here!“

“Had lunch here and the food was pretty good. The service was better, although our lunch was interrupted by plates being dropped on the floor.... twice. The only negative comment is that the tables are way too small for 4. Totally cramped and uncomfortable, and just for this reason I wouldn't come back if I had a parry of 4.“

“One of Manhattan's great ‘secrets'. The caviar offering and presentation are first class. But it is also a great restaurant experience apart from the caviar. Innovative selections that are very well presented with close but discreet service. One of our favourites.“

“We lived in nyc for 30 years. Recently moved to DE. God only knows how much we miss the nyc culture. Nothing holds a candle to it. Thank you Aaron for such a delightful lunch today at your restaurant. Best Manhattan I’ve had in a long long time! You were so attentive and accommodating. Service the best! Thank the kitchen for the great food also! Will be back soon with our nephew and his spouse!“

“Wonderful meal. The wine list needs work it has very few reasonable bottles on it, most of the selections are over $200 and many are over $500 which is nuts. Fine to have those prestige bottles on there that looks cool and is aspirational but some things in the $100 and below range are important for your average diner.“

“Super unique and delicious maple praline brown butter pancakes! More cake than pancake. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. Food was prepared much quicker than expected and was all very good! I would definitely recommend this!“

“Visited for the first time and completely loved this restaurant. Service was good but my hesitation to place the 5th star really was more about timing and the intuitive check back. Our main server was polite and did his best but they were busy. I'm sure had we been there with just a bit fewer covers that he and his runners would have impressed just as the food did. We did the Chefs taste option and it was delicious and I recommend they option just to be able to sample so much more of the menu. The chef has created a fantastic journey across their menu and it is was delicious.“

“To start, got the orange pepper wet wings & the picante chicken sandwich. The sandwich was delicious & the perfect level of spice, but could've used sauce. Too bad the sauces cost $2 each, biggest letdown of the experience. The wings were average & pretty overpriced. After, we were still hungry & got the 2 pc chili chicken with cornbread. The cornbread was fantastic, with the blend of the apple honey & cheddar working better than expected. The chili chicken was the star of the show, with a very unique flavor & crust that lacked no crunch. Water tasted quite strange after indulging in the chili chicken. Good experience. but didn't live up to all the hype on social media.“

“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“I've eaten at Valerie's twice. Good food, good service. Only downside, it's crazy loud. Very hard to hear. Both upstairs and on the ground floor in the back. Not sure if it's the acoustics but it's particularly loud. If you want an energetic happening place, it's great. If you want a bit more quiet, its not the place for you.“

“The atmosphere was fine and the plants on the wall were lovely. The monk fish was ok. The burger was good but substitutions are not allowed (I asked about subbing some greens instead of fries). You also can’t choose how your beef is cooked and I was fine with medium. It came well done, unfortunately. I like salty foods and this burger was pretty salty but I didn’t mind. The bacon was the best part of the entree.I’m adding an additional star in my review because they cook their fries in duck tallow which is much healthier and tastier than seed oils. Fries cooked in seed oils (most restaurants) contain trans fats because the frier cools and heats up over and over which causes the oil molecules to degrade down to trans fats. I’m glad more restaurants are starting to switch from canola and soy bean oil to animal fats. Ok, coming off my soap box.“

“When we arrived it seemed pretty unassuming; they took us up to the lounge and I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect for Mothers Day. A cozy vintage looking lounge with floral and velvet couches and wallpaper. Great service, old school classic music and the food was amazing! Thanks“

“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“

“Otis, My Man! - Animal House I planned out both dinner and show Friday night for my wife. I have the first reservation at 6pm but in order to make this all work she has to leave work a little early. She says it shouldn't be a problem but all I'm thinking about is their homemade breads. If there's an issue, I may leave late. Woman, set yourself on fire and run out of there! Once inside, this is a beautiful space in Bushwick. Bushwick always makes me laugh. If my grandparents were alive they'd say the rosary for me. Bushwick in the late 70s? As I see the subway across the street, I can see why in 2024 this is a popular neighborhood. Walking inside, there is a long beautiful looking bar that's stocked with some high end booze. I was about to order one of the great Scotch offerings but I see a smoky & spicy Otis signature drink called "Revenge Of The Line" made with Mezcal, Charred Pineapple and Habañero. Ah-mazing. The Otis Menu isn't broken down into starters and mains. The Otis team lists everything, figure it out and order. My wife & I made this work. Starting with the Burrata and the Roasted Beets. The Burrata was on top of this Sweet Potato and Tomato Jam. Once the burrata was cut open, delish! We slathered the cheese on the charred focaccia, soo good! The roasted beets with Ruby Frost Apples were another solid dish. What made it next level was the Crispy Quinoa and Candied Pecan bits. Highly recommended. Next, Lamb Meatballs and Braised Pork Pasta. We're sitting at the chef's table and watching these guys cook is crazy. They have 5 pans going at once and they are hustling to get food out. I see them take the Lamb Meatballs and put them on the grill to get that charred goodness. When they're finished the Lamb Meatballs are plated over a Tomatillo Tahini. This is a phenomenal dish, and the definition of phenomenal: very remarkable, extraordinary. Finally, the Braised Pork Pasta. This was something I never had before, it says miso but the underlying flavor tasted more like cinnamon. House made Gigli Pasta with Pork Shoulder which was cooked low and slow, fork tender soft and loaded with flavor. This dish was topped with House-Made Ricotta. Best described as a little heat with sliky tomato sauce, the Braised Pork Pasta is the best dish on the Otis menu. The desserts looked amazing but we were so packed I had to say No Mas. I am so glad we dined at Otis, I highly recommend Otis for Cocktails and Dinner.“

“My wife and as New Mexican natives have searched far and wide on our travels for “real New Mexican food”. Santa Fe BK is unquestionably the best we have had. John and Melissa, the owners did their research and it shows in the food. The place itself is charming, especially the outdoor patio with “Betty” the apple tree anchoring it. Owners were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their Chimayo red and Hatch green chiles (the heart of New Mexican cooking) were excellent. We’ll definitely be back on our next NY trip.“

“Our visit here started with our reservations being at a different restaurant. The hostess was understanding and quickly found us a table in an already busy restaurant. The atmosphere was electric, inviting, and comfortable. The food was phenomenal. Our waiter Amferny (?) went above and beyond with recommendations and even a special treat to celebrate our honeymoon. We were only in town for a couple of days and this experience exceeded our expectations. My husband has always wanted to eat at one of Marcus's restaurants, so thank you for making this dream come true!“

“Date: Sunday, May 5th, 2024 Time: around 2:30pm Party of: 5 What: After Lunch Drinks *Brooklyn Bootlegger ($18) *Monkey Shoulder: neat ($19) x2 *Sixth Sense ($17) *Oban Little Bay: neat ($19) After lunch, my group of 5 wandered to Dutch Fred's. It was kinda rainy, so a pretty chill vibe inside. Not too busy at all. We were seated at a table in the back. I saw a sign when I walked in mentioning the Best Gin Martini in New York 2023, so I ordered that. (I think it's the Brooklyn Bootlegger listed above.) I'm normally not a huge gin fan, but this was fine. Didn't have that herbaceousness I associate with gin. Plus, I used to drink vodka martinis all the time when I was younger, so this kinda took me back. Tho I was more of an olive girl than a twist girl. The decor was very eclectic. Flowers in the front, library in the back, and plates as wall hangings in between. A little all over the place, but we had the back area to ourselves, so had a good time just talking and catching up. Good spot to grab a gin martini.“
