“Chicharron de pollo with the bone is SO GOOD. Well cooked and juicy. Beans are well seasoned and delicious. Love the rice. It reminds me of my abuela’s cooking. I usually don’t love Dominican take out (it’s usually not like the real thing in my opinion!!) but I’m glad I tried this place because it tastes very authentic! I’ve ordered from here 3-4 times on Uber Eats and will be ordering again!“

“Stumbled upon this place. Food was delicious. We had a party of 11 and everyone was satisfied. Highly recommend. Food was excellent as was the service. Juan Pablo was attentive, friendly, made great recommendations, and was patient with our limited Spanish. He was an exceptional server and made our experience very memorable!“

“Much anticipated place and it ended up being mostly good but not without issues. We came for a happy hour on Wed at 6:30pm. The place is tiny and you really want the bar seating. It was 3 of us so we sat at the table in the back which was weirdly pointed towards another table — ok, I guess they envision some sort of communal dining. It’s a vibe but def. lacking privacy. Both Japanese and pickled martini were good but I don’t think they were $22 good. I ordered them thinking that they’re $12 due to happy hour and the waitress never mentioned anything until we got our check and were surprised to see both of them being at the regular price. Basic courtesy would be to make it clear. All of the snacks—boquerones, razor clams, scallops—were delicious, although $27 for a can of clams made me weep with memories of getting same thing in Barcelona for just a few euro. The worst part was waiting for oysters; I get that this is half-priced happy hour so I can wait maybe up to half hour, but ours came 45 mins after ordering. Kind of unacceptable. Oysters were small but tasty. Good deal if you can get in on it at the start of the HH.“

“Great Spanish restaurant for group hangouts or date night. Reservations are recommended because it gets packed on weekend nights. Staff are friendly and efficient. This place offers many different types of tapas and we had hard time deciding! We ordered a bunch of tapas and the seafood paella at the end for a group of 5. Food are very tasty. We also ordered churros and lava cake for desserts! Lava cake is amazing!!!!“

“The food here is amazing! Delicious Latin flavors in dishes that will fill you up! My typical order is the Bandeja Paisa which is a full meal in itself! The avocado salad is also a must have- great flavors, super refreshing and always pairs nicely with other dishes. The liki martini is my favorite drink! The service is so friendly, they will all make you feel like you’ve been invited into their home. Juan is truly a magnificent host and it’s truly a must visit whenever I am in the area! I would highly recommend this for a date or even a casual night out! The environment can be treated as either!“

“Nai Tapas was super packed and we arrived late courtesy of the Williamsburg Bridge. Had to wait forour table but fortunately, their friendly staffs seated us at the waiting area with some champagne while enjoying the intimately decorated restaurant. Nai, meaning mother in Gallego, is an innovative kind of cuisine by Chef Ruben Rodriguez. Appetizers simply melts in your mouth with such a delicious distinctive taste. That 45-day aged prime ribeye katsu will be nothing you’ve ever had before. They also have a complimentary Flamenco show performing on every Saturdayat 7pm and 9pm. Seating is on a first come first serve basis but hurryup and make your way to Nai Tapas for the ultimate Galician experience!“

“I had a great time on Friday night at our friend's birthday celebration at Marbella. The staff is wonderful, so friendly ! Marcello was very attentive and made sure we had a great time AND we always had a drink. A++ The room is very spacious and festive. The cocktail hour was great! Had a lot of my favorite bites, like seafood croquettes and tortilla espanola! Dinner was lovely, buffet with items such as pork loin, arroz con pollo and stuffed filet of sole which I really enjoyed. (if u know me, you know i dont eat fish, my hubby couldnt believe i ate this piece of sole! so good!) Lastly...Sangria, my drink of choice always...was a constant on the table and I couldnt be happier! I will definately be visiting the restaurant very soon!“

“Fatima's is the best. I got the pernil, which I don't see on the "dishes I recommend" list, and that is a crime because this pernil was *amazing.* Also just plain old rice and beans, I don't know what they do to them but even the next day when they were cold they were still the best damn rice and beans I've ever had.“

“Yes...it's a chain (multiple locations) but to me it's a neighborhood favorite in SoHo. The atmosphere is festive, Leo our server on many occasions is awesome, attentive and cheeky. The food, tapas style, is delicious and the sizes allow for you to try many dishes. The high top tables are comfortable and we always end of table surfing and meeting new people. It's high energy during the evenings and the crowd all seems to be having a blast. You'll have a great time for dinner.“

“Having been to Casa Mono on more than a few occasions, I am happy to report that the quality of its appetizers and entrees remains high. We had savory pulpo a la plancha, mussels with chorizo, and sardines as appetizers before enjoying duck breast, grilled skirt steak, and pork meatballs, all of which were served in a timely manner by an attentive wait staff. We completed these dishes with a 2012 Lopez and Heredia Rioja. I recommend Casa Mono with enthusiasm!“

“This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is fantastic! So much so that we came on Cinco de Mayo and waited for a table just to get in. They do have 2 for 1 specials on drinks, but otherwise no other deals or happy hour specials. The seating is well spaced considering the restaurant is smaller. Being able to see into the kitchen as they make the food makes it that much tastier. I really feel connected when I can see them fresh pressing the tortillas ? It's very cool. I will say, the fish taco was my least favorite of the foods we ate. I felt like the actual fish got lost under the delicious sauce and well seasoned breading. It was overall tasty, but I wasn't getting much fish flavor with all the other stuff going on. Regardless, EVERYTHING we ate was BOMB and we will be back!Ate: guacamole, pulpo, tacos- fish, birria, al pastor“

My steak came out a little less red than I like but the flavor was delicious. One of my friends requested to add chicken to her pasta and the owner was happy to accommodate and my friend loved her dish.Vegetarian options: No meat Pasta, salad and vegetable dishes were on the menu .Dietary restrictions: There was enough of a variety for all to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a gentleman in a wheelchair that appeared to be able to get around easily. “First time dining at ABC Cocina, and the first impression started off a little shaky. My friend and I had a 530pm reservation and walked in and stepped to the side because the host was taking care of a couple of people who had just arrived before we did.So, while we were waiting for her to finish, a three people group came up on the other side to wait as well. So after she finished taking care of the people before us, she turned to the three group party and asked how can she helped them. Now, this is when my mind begins to wonder. I know she saw us come in and step to side, waiting. The other group wasn't even there when we arrived. Graciously, the older white lady in the group said to her (host), I believe they were here before us waiting.I let her know we had reservations, and while she checked, I turned to the lady and said, "Thank you."Now, in that moment, we looked at each other, and both understood without saying a word. What had just happened. So as she takes us to our table, she sits us next to two gentlemen in the right-hand corner. So now, I'm thinking all these tables are free, why sit us here. Maybe the seating is based on the number of people from reservations. Also, the seat was shaky as well as the table. I let my waitress know, and she took the seat away and fixed the table. Now, from this point on, everything was excellent. The servers here were amazing, attentive, polite, and friendly. We had at least 5 to 6 servers back and forth at our table, making sure everything was ok with food, water, and drinks. My rankings from what we had beef tacos#1. It was the best tasting beef I ever had in a taco, amazing. #2 calamari, perfectly seasoned crispy skin outside and tender inside with the tasty pickled onions and sauce. #3 chicken tacos perfectly seasoned crispy skin outside, tender inside and flavorful. I would like maybe something else added in taco, like the beef one.#4 the mushrooms, never had these types of mushrooms before. Great flavor and nice texture with the cheese added and their hot sauce on the the table put this dish over the top.#5 Spring pea empanada was different but tasted good, hot, and cheesy. #6 guacamole was fresh and tasted good. I never had guacamole made this way before, and chips were crisp. #7 Heart of Palm Salad was good and fresh. Just could have been a little more on the plate.I had one fresh beet juice, and we also had a few basil margaritas. Overall, the food, drinks, servers, and the two gentlemen we sat next to made our experience delightful and fun.“

“Yes Mama is one of the best discoveries of Astoria this year!Jessica runs the business all by herself and does a damn good job of it! Not only did she cook homemade Puerto Rican recipes, but she hires entertainment along with having a great selection of wine.I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew with white rice) and it felt like I was eating a mother’s cooking. Paired it with a couple glasses of Rosasera and a lovely Latin jazz band playing in the background and it was heaven. There were even some board games for us the play with while we waited on our food.Topped off the night by splitting a plate of the coquito flan served with the most adorable heart shaped spoons. It was so rich and decadent. If you live in or venture out to Astoria, please please please pay this place a visit! You’ll be so happy you did!“

“We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at MyMoon in October 2023 with a party of 75 people. We cannot fully express how wonderful the whole experience was for us. The venue was everything we wanted- Spanish decor, moody, romantic, cozy, and beautiful greenery in the courtyard and deck. The food and cocktails were delicious! Our event coordinator, Lee, is knowledgeable, super responsive, and organized. The staff was well equipped, attentive, and knew how to run an event. Our wedding went smoothly and Lee was there to address any unexpected concerns and provide support throughout the day. Our guests were surprised by this hidden gem in Brooklyn and expressed how much they enjoyed their time! We would love to attend a wedding here as guests!“

“Good and authentic Spanish dishes tasting just like you would find at a restaurant in Madrid. The croquetas and the Patatas bravas were delicious! Also the squid ink black rice was very nice. There were some issues/delays with staff, but admittedly they were very busy. Also, they were all very friendly staff and we were not in any rush, but something to keep an eye on as the rice wasn't warm enough by the time it reached our table. All in all it was a very good balance of value based on food portions, quality and prices. Hence we will definitely come back and I'd totally recommend anyone giving it a try.“

“Gave this place a try a week ago and it was pretty good. Nothing we had was what I would call "ground breaking" but it was pretty solid for classics. The pancakes were very fluffy and fat but held good flavor too. For some reason I just had to try this places chopped cheese (my local bodega stopped selling food and switched to weed) and yea I've had better chopped cheeses but it did scratch that itch when you're craving one. I got the energizer juice also which was on par with others no notes. All in all the place is studry it sells what it's good at and seems to have a following of customers that appreciate that.“

“I'm so glad I went here last night with my wife. It looks like they've changed their name to My Jarabacoa, and that's OK, 'cuz I don't even know what Jarabacoa is. Yes, the interior of the place is bland... I saw another reviewer complaining about this. The walls are covered with a deteriorating coat of brown paint... but the costillas is so awesome, I won't hold it against them. Hell... the men's bathroom was clean. What can I say? I'll take the crappy brown paint any day of the week when you're serving up a nice, thick Sancocho like the one we just had. The waitress was phenomenal for this place, too. Very personable, never rushing us, but efficient and just wanting to please. I also had a Shrimp Salad, and while they ran out of Romaine lettuce and sub'd it with Iceberg lettuce, they've got a good dressing and I enjoyed it. I don't live close by, but I'd definitely go back!“
