“We visited casually on a Saturday night and it turned into such a fun night! We knew they only serve beer or wine which is fine because the vibe they strives for is chill, laid back and catching up with friends. The owner Rick was so friendly and showed great customer service. They had a variety of beers to choose from which was great. My favorite thing and I know anyone who drinks beer will appreciate is how damn cold the beer was! Kudos for getting that right! Just picture an ice cold beer on a hot summer Saturday night, perfection! It is in my neighborhood and I will definitely recommend to anyone for a super chill vibe, hang out spot.“

“I had the octopus, shrimp and fish tacos and they were very good, however if I'd know it had mayo drizzled all over it I'd have opted jot to. Still the tscos were super tasty. The server was very attentive and nice. The restaurant is super clean.Parking: Street parking is a pain“

“Excellent food, a bit on the pricy side compared to other Greek places around but great food. The moussaka was great, served in a small dish, definitely worth sharing. We ordered daily speciality and were not disappointed. Our sever was lovely, she had a very authentically welcoming vibe, could be the Greek hospitality; but I loved how genuine she presented herself, the staff was lovely as well.“

“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy. This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“

“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“

“The seafood and meat are very fresh. I think this is the best seafood hot pot restaurant in Flushing. The dining experience is also very good, and the service of the waiter Kai is also very attentive. Just use the pad to order. However, it is recommended to choose a table with a large pot. Personally, the small pot is a bit small.“

“Great place to have seafood . Food is very delicious . I had a dragon roll which was good size . Bass was melting in my mouth and buttery but lacked seasoning. Fries very good size but not crispy. They need to work on fries . Greek salad was more of tomato salad than Greek salad . Lacking major Mediterranean elements .Dietary restrictions: Kosher“

“I visited this spot for brunch, and I was immediately drawn in by its lively atmosphere and warm lighting. The decor is vibrant, with a playful combination of light orange and green hues. While the space is a bit cozy, the tables are adequately spaced apart, allowing for comfortable conversation without excessive noise. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, there's more breathing room available outside. Now, let's talk about the food - it's simply fantastic! The everything donuts were a delightful surprise, coming out fluffy and bite-sized, topped with scallion cream cheese reminiscent of classic New York bagels. The curry mussels were a standout dish, boasting generous portions perfect for sharing. The creamy curry sauce had just the right amount of spice, and I found myself enjoying the truffle fries even more when dipped into it for an extra burst of flavor.Given its popularity, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially for weekend brunches. I'm already looking forward to returning to try more of their unique mussel and donut flavors - they all sound equally enticing and fun.“

“Dim Sum was great! Service was good too. The staff talked minimally to us, but they were quick to take away finished plates and replace tea without us asking. Staff started speaking to me in Chinese, and I'm not fluent but it was no issue communicating in English - whether I asked for specific dishes (then the staff called over the person with the cart) or asked for more napkins. Disclaimer: I didn't order any ala carte dishes, so I can't speak to those. But the food we ordered from the carts were really delicious. Even the tea was great! I liked how many of the dishes came with 4 pieces, as many places just have 3. (An even number is easier to share and more common as dining parties I think!!) Even the sticky rice in bamboo comes with 4 separate pieces, which makes it easy to portion out with larger groups. I'd say the turnip cake (luo bo gao) was not fresh and at room temperature, so I'd recommend getting the dishes where you see the steam coming off; are kept in the carts that are heated. Great food and service!! Will definitely be coming back.“

“Saying this place is good would absolutely be an understatement. This is the type of place you would find in the city tucked in somewhere in the high-rises, not in Queens.Walking in is literally like walking into the minds of the people who own this place. Everything is well thought out and there is a place for it somewhere. There's so much inside but never feels cluttered. Even the bathroom is adorable. Friend called it animal crossing style and I definitely can't I unsee it now.The food.... The food is phenomenal. I wish I could get inside the mind of the person who made the food because absolutely everything was on point. This is what I think Asian fusion is.Everything in all the dishes has flavors from all over Asia. Everything down to the ingredients was well thought out and blended in with each other. It was like tasting all of Asia in the few plates we hadI heard it was one guy in the kitchen, and that guy knows EXACTLY what he's doing. You can taste the passion and love he put into the dishes and it shows. Highlight for me would be the blt fried rice and chicken and waffles. Using Chinese style bubble mochi waffles was just brilliant thinking and pairs well.Highly, highly recommended. Also shout out to our server mimi, she was great and loved our reactions to their food that she gave us a milk tea pudding on the house for us. You're the best mimi! And that milk tea pudding was amazing. Earl grey crumble on top? Who even thinks of that??? Fantastic“

“Although I am not a huge fan of Greek restaurants, I really enjoyed this one. Great atmosphere, good service, and very fresh and tasty food. I really liked their grilled octopus, vegetable chips, and zucchini croquettes. Also, the catch of the day - black sea striped bass - was delicious. The only thing that I can complain about is baby lamb - a bit too dry to my taste.“

“I have had this bar on my radar since I saw multiple posts about this place on Instagram in the past. I came in for brunch, and I think this place is super cute, and I got such a great view of the water while dining outdoors. Owen was my server, and he was very friendly. The service getting my food and drink was a tad slow, which was understandable as I saw the restaurant was having a private event inside. They have a decent sized menu with reasonable prices, and the Meatlover Omelet I ordered tasted really good. They also make a great bloody mary as well. I was surprised that I didn't have an issue finding street parking in this area as they don't have a parking lot. Overall, I was happy with my first experience, and I will definitely stop in again the next time I drive to the Rockaways.“

“Been wanting to come to Zaab Zaab for a while to try it. With so many locations popping up over NYC, I still wanted to try the original location. Was able to walk in without a problem. Asked the waiter for a few recommendations and ended up going with what he suggested. I loved the gai yang vichean buri. The chicken was pretty juicy, and the skin was still somewhat crispy. There wasn't much meat though. However, $18 for a half chicken isn't bad price wise. The larb pla duk yang was so spicy. It was good, but it was too hard to finish it because of the heat. I wanted more lettuce and leaf wraps to go with it because it is a sizable amount of larb. Tum ko lat was okay. It wasn't the best papaya salad that I've had, but the ingredients were super fresh. Definitely need to order sticky rice to go with the larb because it was a lot. You probably don't need to go to this location exactly, but it is an option if you ever find yourself in the Jackson Heights area.“

“This Place is great! Food is delicious and tasty. We got the Beef Pares and the Beef Mami. The beef pares is really tender! And bone marrow that comes with it is also delish. Garlic fried rice is amazing. My suggestion that would make this Beef Pares perfect, is adding some kind of vegetable, on the side, to help cut through the savoriness of Beef. Perhaps some Garlic steamed bokchoy, or some atchara, or even just some tomato cucumber salad. Also, maybe giving the option for just plain steamed white rice would be great too, since the sauce of the Beef Pares is so delicious and you would want to pour it all over some plain white rice.Beef Mami- perhaps some crunchy chicharon toppings on top for extra oomph!service- greeting your customers as they walk in, would be great. Since there isn't a sign that say "seat yourselves" at the door. The setup of the restaurant and the vibe of the place definitely is for a "wait to be seated" kind of dining. A Simple Phrase such as "welcome, for how many people?" would not hurt. Acknowledge the presence of customers coming in; otherwise, they will be clueless and would feel unwelcome.Iskrambol- love it! I was really excited to see it on the menu!“

“A must try place, all the food we had was excellent. I recommend the tuna burger in particular. They have “happy hour” all day until 6pm with 2$ oysters and $6 beers and some selected $9 glasses of wine. Its worth coming to greenpoint just to eat here ✅. Only negative is that theres only one bathroom and inside theres only stool seating. No regular tables inside. Outside though they have a ton of regular table seating.Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly particularly the outdoor section there were a lot of families there“

“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! My advice to you is stop reading this review and get your a** over there! Enjoy!!Parking: There is a municipal parking lot about 3 blocks away“
