“My family (including three kids) stopped by after a day at Kennywood. The servers were so sweet and very attentive. Food was great, we ordered the Italian beef and pizza. So much food leftover! Reasonable prices as well.”

“Brew Gentleman has always been a solid spot. We hadn't made our way out there for a bit but decided to check it out again. We were pleasantly surprised to see they changed it around a bit from the previous layout, and they added some nice touches. They always have a nice line up of styles, and their flagship beer is on tap. There is a beer garden around the back of the building that is not connected that provides additional space when the weather is nice. Four packs available on site to go. No food on site, but there is a food truck sometimes.”

“A few days ago after a really stressful day, I decided to go to Fairways, and I had the opportunity to see three of the bartenders and the owner. “A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“For those who enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend Bombay to Burgh. This "home cooking" restaurant came highly recommended by our neighbors as well as @alexeatstoomuch. It's a small place in Swissvale, just a few minutes off the Parkway East. We opted for the Sunday buffet. Plenty of selections and a VERY reasonable price! The food was excellent!”

I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). “Incredible and authentic chaat! My husband was born and raised in India and we have always said that we wished there was somewhere in Pittsburgh that just sold chaat and snack items. We were blown away by the pani puri and the Bombay sev sandwich. The restaurant gives you a proper Indian dhaba feel. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends!”

He shared his families beginnings, starting with his Nana’s exceptional recipes. They use quality ingredients… then they add pure love, respect and consistency in the food that they put forth daily. Great people, great story and great pizza. The dough was light and crispy, a perfect mix so the toppings can shine! Cash only. A definite must if you’re in Verona!”

The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age.
