“This was our third time at this new Pittsburgh gem. We continue to be impressed by the creativity and quality of their dishes as well as a wine cellar to die for. Eric was again our server and we again enjoyed his Texas drawl as he expertly guides us through the menu with added perspective on each dish or wine selection. As we departed, we were already thinking of opportunities to return. And return we will.”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“For those who enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend Bombay to Burgh. This "home cooking" restaurant came highly recommended by our neighbors as well as @alexeatstoomuch. It's a small place in Swissvale, just a few minutes off the Parkway East. We opted for the Sunday buffet. Plenty of selections and a VERY reasonable price! The food was excellent!”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“We had an excellent dinner at Monterey Bay last evening. I had the Branzino which was filleted and cooked perfectly. My wife had the seafood trio which was a starter for her entree. It included some tuna, salmon, shrimp and a delicious crab cake. We also split the Mediterranean salad which was very fresh. John was our waiter and was very knowledgeable and attentive. I am convinced Monterey Bay is the best seafood restaurant in Pittsburgh after dinning there several times and enjoying the magnificent view.”

“Incredible and authentic chaat! My husband was born and raised in India and we have always said that we wished there was somewhere in Pittsburgh that just sold chaat and snack items. We were blown away by the pani puri and the Bombay sev sandwich. The restaurant gives you a proper Indian dhaba feel. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends!”

“Was just at the Indiana location and wanted a low carb late that wasn’t made with sucralose - they were kind and accommodating and made me a delicious slightly sweet latte with stevia and vanilla bean paste that is so good ! So glad to go support local and really great quality coffee over a chain branch - also got my toddler and adorable sprinkle cookie”

“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. “We do not have an Indian restaurant where I live. It is my favorite cuisine. I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). I can say without a doubt this is the best I have tried in the Pittsburgh area. The freshness and quality is so amazing. The owner is very personable and service is great. I will go no where else but this place going forward. So happy a decided to stop on a whim!”
