I asked if it was ok to move a chair over to a table and the barista appeared extremely taken aback, sighed, and passive aggressively said I could go for it. I found this wonderfully absurd. Would highly recommend going there and asking if you can move a chair.
my favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh!! the coffee is amazing and the folks are kind and helpful. cozy place to do a bit of work or meet up with someone and I've liked the beans I bought here too :)

This is solidly in the category of hip coffee shops. The space is large, bright, clean, modern, and somewhat minimalist. We reached about 20 minutes before the closing time, so the cafe was almost empty. my friend opted for the affogato and I got the special latte with honey. Both were pretty great. We sat down with a drinks on a very comfortable sofa, which is rare for cafes around Pittsburgh.
