Went Saturday night for first time, nice patio in back, great waitress, had treehugger burger and gearhead burger both were very good as were the fries. Had the risotto ball, terrible, risotto was mushy and flavorless. The coating was good. Chef needs to add chicken stock, heavy cream and parm cheese when cooking risotto and not cook too long. Will be back but will try the meatballs instead!!
Brick and Barrel is a hidden Gem in the Fox Chapel Area! The Historic building has a unique and awesome ambiance. You are greeted by friendly and kind staff that provide impeccable service! Chef Julian is skilled at creating dishes that are memorable, unique and always making you want to go back for more. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried has always been spectacular. We especially love the creative twists on classic dishes too. This is a must try! You will be wanting to frequent very often!
