This was our first time at Carmella's. We had heard many great things about the place and we were not disappointed. The service was very friendly. Everyone was very attentive without being overbearing. The food was brought out in a nice timely manner. Each dish we had tried was excellent. We tried several small plates and one was better than the next. The people were lovely and attentive. They clearly wanted our experience to be first rate. We were in Pittsburgh for our grand-daughters Pa State gymnastic competition. Carmella and her staff couldn't have been more generous with their time. The calamari were tender, the ribs delicious and the gnocchi were decadent. My daughter and grand daughter shared a skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream. They recommend it. Nice job, Carmella!
