Despite the name, this is more of an elevated bar food restaurant than a bar. It’s more akin to fatheads down the street than a typical shot & beer ss haunt. The food is consistently top notch though. Great burgers. Great apps. Clean and good ambiance. Great for brunch, happy hour, and dinner. Not really a late night drinking spot but theres plenty of those to go around in southside.
The range of culinary opportunities to explore here is wide, which is only boosted by their well balanced and crafted dishes. I like the rough hewn, subdued atmosphere, the on tap selections, and my servers have either met or exceeded my expectations. Also, their menu is funny. I really like coming here.

Surprised by this random find, which turned out to be a hidden treasure. Our server Paul was exceptionally cordial and extremely knowledgeable about menu items, which was greatly appreciated. The humus platter was plentiful and scrumptious. But our ultimate pleasure was in the hanger steak & gouda risotto. Definitely would go back! The desert was good but not great (rasberry/lemon cake; we'll have to try a different one next time).
