We went for Taco Tuesday, love the thought. Margaritas were great and we appreciate the deal…. Although, we waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged (menus,water). We then waited two hours for an order of tacos. All while, we watched 3 parties walk out, cause they weren’t acknowledged for 30+ minutes. The food is was decent, the business performance itself needs a ton of work.
Shea and I had a lunch date today at Leon’s Caribbean Restaurant Hopewell . It was amazing and took us by suprise. To start, they gave us free margaritas that were surprisingly good! The food was an easy 10/10. We got a Jamaican patty as an appetizer. It was like a little beefy flakey pocket of love and spices. I wished I had gotten more than one of those. For the main dishes, Shea ordered the jerk chicken, rice, and cabbage. While we aren’t normally a fan of bones, the meat literally fell right off and was so flavorful. I got the taco Tuesday jerk chicken tacos with rice and beans. It was also so full of flavor and was so good. We both cleaned our plates and went home a little tipsy! This place really gives you Jamaican beach vibes. Kudos to Brian the cook!

We visited Leon’s tonight based on recommendations from a friend, and we are very glad we did. The owner and the waitress on staff were extremely friendly and attentive! The food was fantastic and we will certainly frequently visit the restaurant. Can’t wait to try the seafood boil!
