Fresh seafood in the app was amazing. The entree had huge chunks of chicken paired with shrimp and veggies in a szechaun sauce with a hint of spice. It was delightful. “The folks in this area were convinced that our sushi restaurants were great. They were wrong - until SU20 opened. Finally the real deal has arrived. Beautiful and generous plating, peak freshness and a creative menu of specialty rolls. Their desserts a perfection!“

“The food here is excellent. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. As someone who does not eat fish, there were also a good amount of non-fish sushi options. All of the kitchen entrees were fantastic. The hibachi steak was cooked to order. They also came with amazing sauces. The teriyaki chicken was also fantastic. They are onto something with their teriyaki sauce. Finally, their entree portions are smaller which is great because it allows you to try new things without waste. The sushi portions are regular roll size (not a negative). Overall, I am most upset with the fact that I do not live closer.“

“I went to Umai for dinner. I ordered rolls and they were very tasty. I would however prefer to have more fish in my sushi ? That's why I only gave a three stars. The restaurant appeared to have multiple regulars there because they called the staff by name. Overall the food was good. The staff was very friendly. Good service. I think it's a nice place to sit down and have some dinner with friends.“

So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

The pieces of fish are large and the rice is small - an ideal ratio. Pour delicious green tea, top up as needed. The waiters are helpful and well-trained - 5th arrival. It’s clean, the tables are clean, overall cleanliness and order - I really appreciate this, a rarity in our region. Prices for a set of rolls start from $5 - and this is a large number of types like Philadelphia, etc. I definitely recommend it.“
