“The best restaurant experience we have had in years. I just cannot say enough great things about the food, the service ( the team work was incredible) and the zero proof menu blew me away.. I’m a retired drinker and it just made my whole day having fun and artfully crafted drinks to choose from. From one restaurant family to another we wish you all the most success. Lang ( don’t hate me if I’m getting it wrong, it’s been a couple days) was spectacular. So kind, so knowledgeable! Also, the bartender was crushing it..making the beverages, and helping their team by running them out. I’m rambling now but kudos to yall! Cheers to many more years!”

“We just celebrated our anniversary here and we were absolutely blown away. The atmosphere was so cool and cozy. The service was excellent from start to finish… from the man that seated us to Maddie, our server who was very attentive and friendly! The food was phenomenal! So fresh and full of flavor! Very unique and nourishing. We started with whipped feta & pita. So flavorful! Then we had the lamb neck which was out of our comfort zone but I’m so glad we got it because it was amazing! Then we had the beef short ribs and a spicy potato dish. We finished off the night with the special crème brûlée infused with dates and Turkish coffee plus the olive oil cake. The drinks were very fresh and unique as well. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The chef and owner should be very proud!”

“We made a reservation and were given a nice private table by friendly staff. I noticed the wall next to our table even had USB ports to charge your phone! We decided to try the cocktails and were happy to find they were expertly crafted and delicious! My husband had a bourbon - The Frazier Fashioned. I had a drink called Fear and Loathing which was just the right amount of tartness plus a slightly smoky flavor from the salt on the rim. Main course was NOLA poboy for me and husband got the Chilean salmon with grilled caesar romaine lettuce. Poboy shrimp was just right spicy and smoky with the bonus of a buttermilk biscuit in the broth. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right- moist, flaky and yummy. Dessert was coconut lime tres leches prepared by their trained pastry chef. We loved the tangy creaminess of this dessert! We will be back!”

“I loved the place and environment. We haven’t had the luxury of dining in yet but had heard about it from some friends. This led us to stopping in and buying some of the meat they had to offer. The friendly staff talked with me my wife and even my four year old as if we were long time friends. After buying some of the dry aged tomahawks and wagyu strips at amazing prices we quickly decided we would be back soon to dine in! I am looking forward to it! My main reasoning for this recommendation thus far was the super friendly staff. Thank you!”

“Spending one night in Chattanooga, we were very fortunate to discover Public House. Located in historic downtown Chattanooga, the area is charming. Restaurant incorporated exposed brick in decor, which we always appreciate. Menu offers many unique options. We ordered deviled eggs (candied bacon garnish is amazing), fried pickles (with pimento cheese spread and sourdough toast), quail and grits, small plate scallops, and grilled asparagus. All were excellent. Our server, Julia, was a treasure. Peppered her with many questions about the restaurant. If she didn't know the answer, she got answers from other staff. Attentive at just the right level. Definitely look forward to returning.”

The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!”

“I have never felt so welcome at a restaurant before until i walked through these doors. The atmosphere, the servers, the chef himself, and even the guests were just all around in an amazing mood. They took care of us for sure. The food was extremely delectable. The chef, Mike Adams came to talk to us and made us feel welcome and our server Sydney did the same with her exceptional service. We aren’t from Chattanooga but a 2 hour drive is worth it if my family and i are going back to dine here. And PLEASE try the blueberry bread pudding. DELICIOUS. If i could give a Michelin Star i most certainly would. Thank y’all so much. “We got married on April 3rd and we had 500 Krystal's and 100 wings delivered to the Coffey barn in Cleveland. I was a little nervous about if they would be warm and fresh since they were coming from Chattanooga. But I worried for nothing. They were there on time, they were professional, they set up in a timely manner and displayed them perfectly. And they were still warm and very fresh. Thank you for helping to make our day perfect. I recommend them highly for any occasion”

I like WH chains but normally I accept that my hashbrowns won't be perfect because either the waiter doesn't call it in correctly or the cook is too busy or lacks experience yet perhaps. “Champy's was recommended to us by a local, and we are so glad we listened! First, the parking is free. That's a big plus. When we exited the car, the incredible smell hit us, and that's when we knew we were in for an excellent meal. There are three dining areas to choose from: one is a three-season covered area, the next is a large bar area, the third is a smaller bar area. In the two bar areas, there are dollar bills decorating the walls. There are old pictures and artifacts. Service was fast. Sweet tea was spot on. The sausage/cheese/pickle appetizer could have been a meal for one person. I had the fried catfish platter, and it was perfect. My husband had the chicken nugget platter, and he thought the chicken was amazing. Our travel companions had the 3-piece white chicken platters, and they were extremely happy. “BeCaffeinated is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chattanooga. I have always had the most pleasant and welcoming experiences at any of their locations (I have been to each one.. multiple times). As much as I love their coffee and enjoying the outdoor seating at the Northshore location, what I love most about BeCaff. is their involvement with the community. Each month the shop hosts giveback days, which I think is totally incredible. Not only that, they offer their space to be used by other community partners and are always involved in something within the community. I know some argue that local coffee shops charge too much, but I will stand by my decisions to support BeCaff because it is evident they are investing in the community, not just a chain trying to make a profit. BeCaffeinated feels like something larger than a local coffee shop, they truly are an incredible member of the community! You guys are one of the things that makes me love Chattanooga!Also, I love that I can bring my dog and hang out on the patio, or pick up a coffee before we walk around the park.”

“I have been on a bit of a BBQ tour lately and thought I would put Sugar's on the list. I'm glad I did. I had the ribs with greens and mo' rockin stew. I thought the ribs were really good. Very tender, moist with good smoke. They have several sauce options that not only have good flavor but we're quite distinct from each other which was fun and delicious.I don't have enough experience with greens to compare but they were tender and not bitter and I thought really good with the clearly great sauce. The mo' rockin stew was nice too. Kind of a chicken and bean soup that was a nice change from the usual baked beans. The meal came with cornbread muffins. They were good with corn kernels and pieces of jalapenos. They were moist but probably the least noteworthy part of the meal.The restaurant sits up on a hill and has a nice view of Chattanooga. You can sit inside or out on the deck. There are goats on the property which are fun and friendly. The waitress was polite and pretty on top of everything. The cashier/hostess was a nice surprise. Energetic, friendly and engaging she was a nice throw back to classic American hospitality. Overall the whole experience was really enjoyable. I will definitely be back. The food is amazing, as far as the drinks go, I don’t drink anymore but my wife says the espresso martinis are to die for. This is the go to place for date night, or a night out with friends.”
