“Best mexican joint in Deer Park, fantastic service, great food, great price and portion size. This place is somewhere between tex mex and authentic, but not quite as authentic as say ranchito or campo azul. Either way, absolutely fantastic food and service. Been here a handful of times now. You can also call in a breakfast/lunch/dinner order and pick it up at the drive through which is awesome.“

“This spot has become our go to location for Tamales and tortillas. The Tamales are amazing. I am forever getting them for my office and now have everyone going there to get them as well. We have tried tamales everywhere because they are one of my families favorite items and we will not get them from anywhere else now. Give them a try - they are truly the BEST!!!!“

“This place is great! Five of us went in for takeout and EVERYONE was pleased. When I tell you how rare of a feat that is for a large Italian family… I had the steak sandwich (which was definitely more like a chicken fried steak) and it was delicious. Other orders were the chicken sandwich, the seafood platter, the fish Po boy and a chicken salad. Most of us had onion rings and the general consensus was that we all thought they were some of the best onion rings we’d ever had. Fries were also great. Service was great. It’s a dive, make no mistake but I’ll take it if it means the food is good. And the prices were actually reasonable! Five stars for the Galley. If I didn’t live out of state I’d promise to be back.“

“I was welcomed very kindly here and the restaurant is very clean inside . I didn’t realize they have Salvadorian food, which is an added bonus for me! I ordered the breakfast with fried plantains, eggs, beans, cheese, crema. I was soooo thrilled to see that the corn tortillas were home made too. I’m only disappointed that I waited so long to try this place out. The spinach pupusa was really good too!!“
