“Took my special lady to dinner for her birthday …. An amazing experience. Food was very good .. staff was out standing…. Even other customers where fun too meet.. small atmosphere was great ….will be going back”

“A step above most restaurants. This is fine, unhurried dining. You really do need to make a reservation. We started our meal with homemade marbled bread and herb infused oil. Then a house salad tossed in a house lime vinaigrette dressing and a ceasar salad. Perfectly timed, no food waiting on the table getting cold while we finished our salads. I had the seafood pasta with perfectly seasoned and cooked shrimp, crab, and melt in your mouth scallops tossed with small ripe tomatoe. The spaghetti was okay, just normal, nothing special like fresh made, but still good. The creme brulee was light and creamie with just the right amount of glazing. The serving was large enough to more than adequately share. The hostesses up front were aloof snootie and "looked down their noses at us like they were better than any of us walking in there (especially since they were just high school or college age girls) but all other staff, waiters and servers were warm, friendly, professional and attentive.”

“Best event venue in Granbury! Besides hosting private parties and charity events, they have a great live music lineup each month. Although the outdoor area is huge but seasonal, depending on the weather, the indoor area is large with a separate room with pool tables and video games. So rain or shine, hot or cold, this place is good anytime of year!Food trucks are on-site during open hours and I have been told the food is good and very reasonable. Very large drink menu and very friendly service. Great place to watch games with a large outdoor screen and multiple screens inside. Stop and visit if you are in the area, take a step back to a simpler time and soak in the nostalgic ambiance, you will be glad you did!”

Maybe the best Sweet Potato Fries I've had, perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft & pillowly on the inside.The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was really good. My only issue is that I needed more barbecue sauce. I could have easily went and asked for more but it was a long walk back. I'll remember for next time.My daughter got the Queso Burger, the smart thing is do is get the queso on the side. The queso was really good.I did try the Jalapeno Ketchup - not my favorite!The Whiffle Ball Field was great for the kids. My daughter says this place gets crowded and there can be a significant wait. Which means you have to place accordingly.I think from now on when I visit Granbury this has got to be definite visit!!!”

“Josefina’s tamales are our favorite by far. Our favorite is the pork, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their flavors or food! The owners are the loveliest people. We had tamales for Thanksgiving and Christmas brunch. We also love to grab lunch.”

“First time here and will definitely make the drive back from Fort Worth! Was met with the nicest wait staff. Place was packed but was able to sit immediately! Staff was the sweetest and they ALL worked together to make everything run smoothly!!”

“First visit here and we enjoyed it. The patio is dog friendly and heated although we sat at the far back of patio which was open, uncovered and heated by Mother Nature. It is nice to sit out there and watch the ducks, geese and such float/fly by. You can also buy duck food from the gumball machine if you want to feed the critters. You order and pick up at the counter then if ya have a hankering for fixin's on your burger stop at the condiment/veggie station and load up. I had a 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, onion rings were nice and crisp and they weren't stingy with the nicely cooked bacon. Others at table had Tacos Furioso, unfortunately they were a bit stingy with the chicken on this one, more like a veggie taco, veggies were good but would like to see a bit more chicken. Another had the Buffalo Chicken tacos which were good but noticably short on the yard bird here again. We also had a Bloody Mary and Margarita. The Bloody Mary is very salty, basic and good and the margaritas was pretty basic but good as well Overall good food and drink. I do have one recommendation, dog friendly space is awesome but what if you had options available for your furry companion? Water bowls for instance, doggie menu with a basic chicken breast, hamburger or hot dog. I know we would always order from that! We will come back!”

“Found this gem yesterday when we happened in Granbury, TX. Friend and I got a mix of pulled pork, brisket, and bologna with potato salad and beans. Everything was AMAZING and the couple there was super nice. I’ve eaten BBQ from all over (including Memphis, St. Louis, and Kansas City) and this was one of the best BBQ places I’ve ever eaten at! HIGHLY recommend!”

She was friendly, hard working and showed her sincere appreciation for us being there. They were busy, but that didn’t stop her from providing very efficient and friendly service.”

“It’s a drive from Dallas but worth it for a good Saturday. Whole experience was great. For 20 bucks you get a wristband for 6 pours of the many options of beers. Plenty plenty of space under the shade and out in the sun. Live singers when I was there. Very glad I finally made the trip out and see it for myself.”

“I love this place! It's very clean and organized. This is very affordable. It's .65 cents a gallon. I had 5 jugs I wanted to fill 5 gallons each. It was only $16.25 plus tax. We always have emergency water on hand for us and our pets and have used them on several occasions including last winter when pipes froze and this year some of our neighbors were without water due to repairs. It also saves having to recycle countless water bottles. There was an elder gentleman that taught us how to do it. Inside they sell several different flavors of tea which you can sample before you buy. They had quite a few delicious flavors! My hubby bought 1/2 gallon of tea! They also have a variety of snack mixes that were addictive! They also sell water bottle caps which is convenient. You simply drive up to one of the pumps like a gas station, place your empty bottle on the pillar and the hoses are above your head. Ask for assistance if it's your 1st time and they're more than happy to help! They're open Mon-Sat 9am-6pm closed on Sundays. I read another review that said you can self serve after hours. I didn't know that so I'll have to inquire about that next time I go. Don't forget to go inside and browse around at the teas and snack mixes!”

“I love the food! Only complaint I have is my wallet was stolen and lost my caniac club card. But my app said I can have the code scanned at the register. Crew members refused said that the location doesn't do that and wouldn't give me a new card. Ended up losing rewards... They got the team leader and they said I shouldn't have lost the card. I've worked in food and retail services for awhile and I understand some customers can be hard to handle, and I try not to be one of those customers, but that experience really frustrated me”

“This is by far the best Tex-Mex restaurant in Granbury! I've been dining here since the early 2000's. Hands down the most consistent in everything from food to service. Also...I won't drink anyone else's margaritas in town! Theirs is absolutely the best!”

“They're great at getting my drink correct. most times I move finding a new Starbucks takes several tries and many different store shopping to find the right place to stick with. This was a smooth transition from my last love in Fort Worth. I will say the staff doesn't interact as much but I'm fine with a thank you and have a good day, especially when I'm already tired. my only complaint is that on a drink that costs $6.50 I shouldn't be missing an inch of the drink. It's not every time, but I've probably paid for 3 or more drinks I haven't received, since moving to town and today is one of them.”

“I heard several people recommend this place, so I had to check it out. The Tacos de Pescado (Fish Tacos) are the best I’ve had in a long while. So good in fact, I came back 2 days later to get tacos for the whole family. Second round… Everyone agreed they were delicious! Looking forward to trying the Caldo de Camarón (shrimp soup) next time!”

“This is pretty much a regular for us. We were initially drawn in by the free margaritas (yes, free), but this place is our Wednesday haunt. Food is great, but stick to the Tex Mex (enchiladas, rellenos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas). Their Anerican food is ok.”

Our event took place in Florida and Perfectly Printed happily assisted us in shipping the cookies. They arrived in perfect condition and the client was beyond impressed. “I haven't had Papa Murphy's pizza in a while. It has always been very good. So last week, I decided to go grab one. I asked for a family size original crust with ground sausage, extra ground sausage, and cup peperoni . The young man said we don't have a family size pizza, the biggest we have is 16 in. I replied with yeah the 16. He said ok, but we only have it in thin. Ok, no big beal. I paid 19.98, got my pizza, and went home only to have very little sausage and regular peperoni. This was by fair the skimpiest pizza I've ever had. Very disappointed.”

“I don’t go to ChicFile very often. But since the revamp I’ve now gone twice. And both times I’ve had something wrong with my order. Cobb Salad with Fat Free Honey mustard. The first time there was no egg in my salad. Went and asked for some and had 3 employees just stare at me and made me feel like they were trying to figure out if I was telling the truth or not. 10+ min later I finally got my prepackaged sliced egg. The second time I ordered the same thing and added chicken nuggets for my grandmother. I did not receive ChiFile sauce(for my gma) and never got my FF Honey Mustard. Just the Avocado Lime Ranch dressing. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal but it’s just super frustrating because I have a specific diet I’m trying to follow on my weight lost journey and not being able to follow through with the planned meal is very disheartening. Especially living 20+ minutes away it’s hard to go back just for sauce. I know eventually it will calm down and level out but little things like that does add up. And the little things do matter. But hopefully here in a week or two it won’t be so overwhelmingly busy all the time. Thank You!”

“We ordered the fajita for one and the molcajete for one, we stopped between 5pm-7pm Thursday, so it was fairly busy. It's our first visit and the food was good, I guess we had a hit day. Salsa & chips were good, the meat was tender overall it was an okay experience. Usually I've learned my lesson when we visit Tex-Mex restaurants we usually order their main plate to avoid disappointment. The one thing that I would recommend please don't mop when we're eating, fabuloso is a very strong cleaner and it's not so pleasing scent while enjoying dinner.”

“We had breakfast vouchers to use here from our stay at a local B&B. You order at the counter then seat yourself. There are a few tables out front and a tight fit of tables inside as well. Our first morning we ordered the waffle breakfast. My husband commented that the waffle tasted like the boxed ones at Costco. My scrambled eggs were slightly runny, but the bacon was good. The next morning I tried the breakfast sandwich and it was so good! The wheat berry bread was delicious. I also got the coffee cake and it was very good. We had the Worlds Collide espresso drink and it was really good too.”

The staff was happy and got the orders correct and delivered tableside quickly. I'd be happy coming here again.”
