“I have never seen my kid eat food so fast and then beg for more! I sampled a little out of her box (before it was gobbled up!!) and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken and beef teriyaki were cooked to order so it was fresh off the grill and super fast. We got three eggrolls and those were fantastic as well-- I'm picky about my eggrolls! It was a little confusing when getting the food, but as far as food goes, it's amazing. Atmosphere you kind of get what you get at a mall food court ‍ We took ours to go, so it wasn't a problem. I'm seeing a lot of lower rating from people about things the restaurant itself can't control. Give this place a shot!“

“I got the bento sushi box, yellow star, yellowtail roll, egg rolls everything was phenomenal even after being delivered. Egg roll and gyoza still crunchy and sushi fresh. Their delivery plating is the best I’ve ever seen which really does add to the meal. There was one piece of nigiri that I couldn’t recognize but it was my absolute favorite. Order here. Pick what you like and will not be disappointed.“

“Warning that you need three or more in your party to make a reservation otherwise the average wait time is 2 hours. You can put your name down and they'll text you when your table is ready so plan for that. The ambience is amazing and the food too so it's absolutely worth the visit. I recomend the lightly salted beef tongue, the yuzu cheesecake, and the agedashi tofu. The staff is friendly and the food arrives fast, plus if you sit at the bar tables they just hand it straight to you from the kitchen. It's a fun experience. Unfortunately without the reservation the seating will be random so you might get the traditional japanese seats or the bar area.“

My wife doesn't like seaweed wraps, so the chef said that he could use rice or soy paper instead of seaweed. All these years, and nobody has ever recommended them until now! “The interior of the restaurant was such a vibe for a late Monday night. We were so happy to find a restaurant that was open late during the weekday. Our server was so friendly and suggestive. We had the chicken katsu don and the spicy tuna roll and a house salad. The breading on the Katsu was so good and crunchy. The tuna paired perfectly with the dressing my salad had. It was an excellent experience!“

“Nice ambiance for a 'strip mall' place. Food, service, prices and cleanliness are all very good. Bent Box prices at lunchtime are a bargain. Great Tempura, 'real' (not pre-cooked) rice, the Sushi and Sashimi are extraordinary. They serve a small salad, as well as Miso soup, with the Bento Box lunch - a nice touch.“

“Highly recommend Sushi Damu in Flower Mound if you are looking for good quality AYCE sushi. Their raw stuffs are so fresh specially squid. I’ve tried squid sushi from many places, but squid here is better as it’s fresh, tasty, and not dry. Sushi rice has good quality too. It’s well-cooked, soft, not dry like other AYCE sushi. Plus rice portion is small. Their sushi rolls are tasty. I would recommend house salad, Ikura, scallop and seared salmon sushi as well as low-carb and spider roll.“

I ordered on my lunch break which is less than 30 minutes, by the time I arrived it was ready for pick up and I was back in the office with a few minutes to spare. I had everything in my bag including extra napkins. I really appreciate when businesses make it a priority to ensure that not only the food is good but that the customer has everything needed in the Togo bag so have a good experience. I'll definitely be ordering from this place again. It was also clean and there was plenary of seating.“

“My wife had gotten an ad for Sushi Sam on her social media, and went to check out where they were. We had driven past them a number of times heading to the Southlake town center, and usually they are on the other side of 1709 from where we are coming to head to what we are going to do that we hadn't really considered them before checking out their menu. Service was outstanding, it did feel like they were overstaffed for the amount of customers they had. We decided to go heavy on veggie rolls due to the number of different options they had compared to our normal places. While it was all good, the only thing that stood out was our one meat option that we got for our 8 year old ... a chicken teriyaki roll (cooked.) Prices are a little on the higher side as well when we compare rolls that we can compare to other places we do go to. (I'll give them credit on that, they are in Southlake.) We will likely return at least a couple more times, especially with our 16 year old in tow with us to try that teriyaki roll, and to try items we didn't get a chance to try this time around. Though, they may not be our regular spot for our regular rolls.“

“My family has spent the last few years looking for what we believe to be the best sushi near us. We all love Cowtown Sushi because of the consistency and quality of their menu. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's nice enough for a date, but not overly stuffy. The pride in the craft is apparent not only in the taste, but also in the presentation, especially the Mt Fuji roll that has become a must have on the list of rolls we order during a visit. If I had to point out a flaw, it would only be the halogen track lighting, while mostly well controlled and balanced so you can see your food and dining companions a handful of seat positions in the restaurant get the spotlight effect and it can be straining on your eyes.“

“Had the most intense craving for sushi and looked up places nearby. This place caught my eye and I am glad it did! It's cute and cozy; very well lit and a wonderful date night atmosphere. Standard prices for above-standard food and service. Didn't end up snagging anything to drink but their bar looked very well equipped. Favorite bite of the night had to be the cucumber salad. “Be careful eating here and paying with a debit or credit card. I was charged twice and called once I noticed, the person I spoke with did not sound surprised at all. I was told they would have to wait for the manager to go through all transactions to double check it and call me back. Once called back they said I did get charged twice and “they would work on getting it reversed”. I have still yet to receive my refund.“

“We've been coming to Blue Ocean for 20 years, and it remains outstanding. Best sushi anywhere. Pictured are the Blue Ocean Roll and Kim's Roll. Both so good. Also try the Tuna Tower and Mussels Dynomite. The service (Kim) is always excellent. The drinks are also great.“
